Everyone hates it but guess what? Defense wins championships. The offensive firework shows are overrated. Look at Pitt and Atlanta, both teams tried to fight fire with fire and got hosed by the pats. 

The pats are the league's Boogeyman and how do you knock them off? Not in a shootout with Brady, but rather, a suffocating defense. That's why Baltimore in it's prime as well as Denver has given the pats a run for their money.

I will apologize since perhaps I misunderstood what you were saying in that post. . "I said BEFORE that we should have gone offense earlier" I took to mean you were claiming you had already said that in a reponse. Which you had not , to me at any rate.

 

So I do apologize for the misunderstanding there. I still never implied nor stated that you made any claim regarding the offseason and the offense being in a great position.

Blocking and a run game didn't hurt neither...of which are the same if not worse than in 2016. Losing wags and yes even zuttahs weak butt leave serious holes

Here is the thing.  If the Ravens did not think they had someone BETTER than Zuttah on the roster, they would not have traded him.  They did trade him so someone on the roster they would have had be the starter instead of Zuttah.  That means the only big problem is RT which is a big problem but hopefully one that they can fix.

I don't think that's necessarily true. We certainly didn't have anyone better than Dumervil before we let him go. We probably have a plan for C, but I don't think that guy is currently on the roster.

Wormleys Wisconsin tape is really good. I think he went exactly where he should have. And given the context of the two edge rushers we drafted, he's a good pick.

I'm excited about this draft. I already thought the defense was top 5 it may be a top 3 defense at least on paper before the season. 

Unfortunately it will come at the cost of the offense still missing some pieces, but it is probably better having a top 3 defense and a 20th ranked offense than middle of the pack elsewhere. 

There is still plenty of time to find an offensive lineman, but I think the front office will be going with Perriman, Wallace, and Moore into next season and that scares me.

I'm not gonna lie - if carl lawson or Desmond king are still there when we pick - I know we have no offensive picks in this class but it'd be incredibly difficult to pass either of those guys up
