Garcia is probably the best pass blocker in the draft

Honestly, if we're taking another EDGE player, then I hope it's Williams, he's a better pure rusher than Lawson. We can at least use him as a situational rusher.

A perfect replacement for Doom.

Yea, there are a lot of guys who we could plug at guard.  Not too worried there.

I like Garcia's technique, but I really don't like him being undersized. Rumor is that his play weight was well under 300 and we're moving to more of a power blocking scheme. He just doesn't really fit with what we're looking for.

Deep defensive draft.  So everyone else reaches offense and Ozzie can't help himself.  We are going to end up with all defensive picks.  I wouldn't bet against it.

Yup, he knows there will be offensive cuts to offset some of these picks and will fill out the roster through FA. I could get behind it.

Nothing crazy about it. The number of picks they've amassed over the past several years and the talent they're drafting has to come to a head sooner rather than later.

We need more picks. Lots of talented players are going to be available through the 3rd and 4th.

Never forget that the Carolina Panthers had draft picks but still refused to take anyone

Ozzie won't be able to pass up on all the defensive guys.  Its impossible.

Well that is a very interesting pick for the Saints, especially trading up for.

You are acting like Lewis and Reed were coaches when they really were not.  The coaches coached up the players.  Yes, having elite players on the roster makes the job of other players easier but they were not the ones who made those players great.  That is an insult both to those players and the coaching staff to just assume a role of Lewis and Reed that they just did not play.

You clearly don't understand the value of on-field and locker room leadership. When Reed and Lewis were on the roster, the Ravens were, with few exceptions, perennial contenders. Since their departure, the Ravens have missed the playoffs 3 of 4 seasons and have an overall record under .500. Some of that has to do with a droppoff in drafted talent but I'd argue that more has to do with the leadership and motivation void that has yet to filled since Lewis and Ed Reed retired.

I'd be interested in ArDarius Stewart.  He's grown on me.  Could be flying a bit under the radar because of their fun first offense.  Don't know if early 3rd is the best spot.
