2nd and 3rd rounds has a lot of good hands WRs that don't rely on speed.  This is exactly what the Ravens need.  Kupp, JuJu, Zay Jones would all be good compliments to the speed we have on the roster.  We need some stellar hands and route running out there.

I really like Zay because he isn't asslow as Juju and he has the best hands in the draft. He may not break tackles but he consistently finds holes in the defense. between 1-20 yards. Won't get much YAC but he is so good with his creative routes.

Hoping for a pass rusher and two olinemen in the next three. I'm really hoping for that guy Pat Elflein. Don't think we could pull him and Lamp, but that'd be my pipe dream.

If we pulled Lamp and Elflein... I have no words as to how excited I'd be. Our interior would be set for the next half decade and the running game.....

There are 5 guys i'd be incredibly happy if they fell to us at 47 and we took them: Tim Williams, Carl Lawson, Forest Lamp, Cam Robinson, Quincy Wilson (I know we drafted a corner but his value would be difficult to pass up at 47)

but the quality of this draft is such that there are other guys around that i'd be happy with too like Jordan Willis, Malik Mcdowell, Budda Baker, Zach Cunningham, Juju Smith-Schuster, Kevin King

No need to be so hostile bro. He is a good blocker and a fantastic route runner.

OL is easier to address in free agency. You can get solid veterans for cheap. WR you won't find a decent one in FA.

This team has several needs. You can't deny this team needs a wide receiver.

Wasn't going for a hostile vibe - more of pretentious/preachy on a la all the draftnik's who think they know best. Either way, no offense intended sir.
I still do believe that o-line and edge rush should be adressed before wr. Even if we manage to sign Mangold (old, injury prone).

Perhaps:
-Lamp/Robinson and Williams/Lawson/Bowser
-Williams/Lawson/Bowser and Elflein/Feeney/Pocic

After those two positions I'd like a WR as well, maybe ArDarius Stewart mid 3rd?

I go back and forth on the two.  But I agree that Zay Jones is the more well-rounded of the two.

We likely wouldn't get a rusher who could impact the game though.
I'd prefer drafting a good rusher and interior OL with the next two picks, and then signing a vet LG/C to bolster the line.

I'm in for my guy Tyus Bowser tonight.  Crossing my fingers for him.

Me too Matt Miller had him going to the ravens in his new Day 2 mock

47-Tyus Bowser

74- Chris Godwin

78- Taylor Moton

Yea, as much as we could use a guard, there are plenty of guys later in the draft that you could plug and play and move Lewis to RT.  I'd be hard pressed to pass on Lamp.  But you could land a guy like Dion Dawkins, Dan Feeney, Nico Siragusa, Isaac Asiata, possibly in the third or later.

i'd be pretty ok with those 3 players... im not as high on bowser as some here - he'd be behind lawson and williams on my edge rusher wish list and behind some of the oline and corners who might still be around

I'm not completely sold on Bowser yet.  He's one of those guys that fits the mold and has great athletism but underwhelms on tape.  With that being said, I think there is a good chance the Ravens would draft him.

he was used so much in coverage on tape i critical situations that i guess i just wanted more momentous edge rushing tape to watch - i wouldnt hate the pick but he wouldnt be my first choice of edge rusher if they all make it

I like Williams better personally.... but Bowser is close to the top of my list for hopeful picks at 47.

If somehow Lamp/Robinson falls to 47 and one of the pass rushers is there too -- ill be torn. I think itll be much tougher to get a pass rusher that can have a real impact in the 3rd round, while its possible Elflein, Feeney, Dawkins or Dorian Johnson could be there...

But Bowser's got every bit of upside that Williams and Lawson do. I just like that ive seen those 2 do it at the highest level of college football, and have seen some polish in terms of moves, bend, etc... But man if Bowser really takes to coaching and puts it together he could be scary good.

and he's got the best name of any of the pass rushers in this draft (except maybe equal with tarrell basham)

I would be surprised at 47. Just conjecture but I'm of the opinion we are thinking O LINE if we stay put. I understand we like Bowser and Rivers but guessing we see Bowser in a trade back scenario or in round three and Rivers in much the same fashion.

I personally like Bowser far more than Rivers.

That's fine, then we focus on getting the best pass rusher in round 2. I'm all for that!
Take Lamp if he's there, otherwise let's get a QB slayer.

i just really want williams or lawson at this point - i really hope they are there but i feel like this might end up being a barnett situation where they get taken just before us by the colts/bills/saints/bengals

Bisciotti needs to lay the hammer down for a pass rusher at 47.... well as long as the top 4 remaining dont fly off the board before us.

But how ridiculous would it be if Cam Robinson is there at 47 (i think Seattle is taking him or Lamp.... i mean could they pass either up??) and we take him... and then Tim Williams falls all the way to the 3rd and we grab him.

And just to really stretch it, we then take Ardarius Stewart with our 2nd third. 4 straight Bama players. The thing Ozzie wet dreams are made of.... and honestly, id be pretty darn happy with that too (obviously depending who else is available with the 2nd third.... but the other 2 idk if there would be a higher BPA)

an all bama draft with those 4 players would appease me of any doubts i might have had about drafting humphrey at number 1

Yeah, things seem to go that way. I am starting to get a nervous anticipation that Lawson makes it to us and that he could be special.

Or perhaps it's nausea anticipating Wormley in a trade back.

The chances of us passing on Lamp if he's there is very minimal. I don't think we'll pass on him.

The chances of him being there at all is also minimal. For many, it is a surprise he didn't go ahead of some of the other O line guys that have already been selected.

Apparently the Seahawks are looking to draft Camp with the second pick in the second round.

Yeah I like Bowser a lot. He's a touch light but I like him quite a bit and I think he could be a real player for us.

That isn't at all surprising but I hope they relieve us of Cam Robinson lol

The owner interfering is the LAST thing we need. No one drafts linemen better than Ozzie, if there is pass rusher worth the pick Ozzie will take him, if not we'll look elsewhere.

oh god id almost forgotten charlie mocking him to us in the 2nd - but the fact that he gave us cam who didnt even go in the 1st round makes me feel a little better about wormley hopefully not being the pick

I dont know the Ravens met him a lot before the draft. it was like 3 or 4 meetings with the ravens. I dont want him either but i think John and Ozzie like him.. gulp...

Usually I don't like those lighter pass rushers but I love his pass coverage, and I'm willing to sacrifice some size for that. Think he could help out at ILB as well, so 2 birds with 1 stone in my mind.
