Top 10 pick spent on OL and last 1st was on a wr.  You can't say they don't try.  As far as Pees, we won a SB his first year at DC.  When his guys are there they are productive, regardless of how you feel about him.

We won a SB with Reed & Lewis on there to coach up the others. And even then they nearly lost that SB giving up a 28-3 lead.Since, the defense has done nothing and everyone makes excuses for him.

Oh we tried one draft so go us lol How many have we devoted to defense in Pees' time here and STILL the defense is not reliable?

Thank you! Will he be able to set the edge as well? And I'm assuming he has the traits of a 3 down linebacker for us.

He can im sure. But to limit that you could bring him inside on early downs or put him on the weak side.

We almost lost that lead because SF realized that Ray was not an asset on the field.  They were going after him the entire 2nd half and we got really lucky that they just did not have enough time to finish the comeback.

How did McMillian go over Cunningham?

Cunningham despite the volume of tackles, he isn't a good tackler.

Great range but tackles high.

Whoever is getting Chidobe Awuzie at this point is getting a steal.  Shocked he hasn't gone.

Make the damn welcome to baltimore Tyus Bowser thread. You earned it!

True but they haven't showed anything yet still need to add competition that area. Well I hope we take Dawkins and another edge or if Cunningham falls

34DE is one of those positions you can afford to slip on though. Like you notice the difference if you have an elite one, but if your guy is average it doesn't really hamper the defense at all. I fully believe in urban and kaufusi to at least be average.

If he makes it to the 60s I'd love Ozzie to move up

IDK- we seem to be drafting as if we still have Ray Lewis and Ed Reed on the team- future HOF players who will magically turn raw talent into Pro Bowlers. We have no HOF players on the roster! Suggs put up his best numberz and had his greatest swagger his first 10 years but has quieted down considerably since Reed and Lewis departed. I'm hearing how Bowser is sooo athletic. Ok, so was John Simon but he did nothing with Baltimore. Perriman was sooo fast, but hasn't lived up to a 1st round billing. So far this draft seems to be more focused on eventual contribution rather than immediate impact.

Really. It's weird. He tackles like ngakoue, wrap, deadweight and spin.

We had 0 pass rush towards the end of last year in spite of us blitzing a lot. Bowser is here to help fix that.

Sorry. That's not on Pees.

You are acting like Lewis and Reed were coaches when they really were not.  The coaches coached up the players.  Yes, having elite players on the roster makes the job of other players easier but they were not the ones who made those players great.  That is an insult both to those players and the coaching staff to just assume a role of Lewis and Reed that they just did not play.

I thought Houston already had two solid inside linebackers or was overall fine in that area  but good pick.

Cushing is gone next year I think

Raiders are gonna be dangerous. Karl

joseph last year, then Conley and melifonwu. They are serious about their secondary. They're gonna win a super bowl at this rate
