I agree with the later. You can tell there is guys they love but they covet picks too much and are gun shy

Yeah, true.  I'm not sure I can say we "probably" would've taken him but I will say we covet picks too much and it makes us hold onto picks when you need to go for the throat.  Sadly, it's understandable since part of the problem is the late picks are where we have the most success. So it's a question of if you want to give up the area where you actually succeed to improve an area where you haven't lately.

Similar to Keanu Neal.  Probably would have gone in the same spot if this was last year's class.

Oh wow I just never noticed him .

Was Marcus Maye really a second round talent ?

2nd round was viable.  I would have went Marcus Williams before Maye though.

Didn't the jets take that safety out of Louisville not long ago. He a bust already?

To my understanding he is and they been trying to trade him.

Yeah. And like 80% of the fanbase suggested that Mosely would bust and Pryor would be a stud.

Ah Jets

I don't know if I'd call him a bust, not worth a first rounder. Hated him back during that draft season, thought he was so overrated.

We probably would've taken Jones but the Ravens weren't about to trade up for him.  That's the real issue here--not recognizing where to trade up.

I don't think we know how to negotiate well. We failed trying trying to trade up last year for Jalen Ramsey. The year before we had a trade fiasco with Chicago & were late with our pick. We certainly don't get these massive bags of picks like some other teams manage to wrangle.

So who thinks we break out second round tradition and pick a good player for once?

Me! Now that Robinson and McDowell are off the board.

Someone needs to take Wormley though.

From what I understand it's actually the other way, he started off strong and has continually regressed since

You couldn't seriously believe Lamp would be around at pick 47

Yeah I wasn't getting my hopes up, value was way too good to slide that far
