[News] Round 1 (No. 16): Ravens Select CB Marlon Humphrey

Ozzie's alabama bias burns us again. It's honestly time for him to hang it up, everybody being homers talking about how great of a pick this is do me a favor and go back and watch him get absolutely abused by Mike Williams. Very doubtful he starts this year and he will never be more than a #2 corner. Awful value in a deep corner class.

Totally a reactionary pick IMO. With PIT getting Bryant back and CIN adding John Ross'  speed opposite AJ Green, it forced Ozzie's hand to try to build the best secondary in the league.

Good to see the Ravens no longer follow the best player available approach.

And somehow Ray Rice still dictates our draft board. Anyone who has ever been accused of swatting at a fly is no longer draftable.

Well I hope that Humphrey can cover for about 4 or 5 seconds, 'cause we're not gonna be putting much pressure on opposing QBs.....heck, why not take Cam Robinson.

Would've thought Allen at that spot.  Interior pass rusher, and plenty of CB quality available later.  Oh well.  At least he didn't draft Cam Robinson.

Maybe they really like Bronson to get it done

Some fans are never happy. OZ finally addresses a need. J Smith can't stay healthy, Carr is over 30 and Young is small. He is big, fast, and physical. His technique can be coached up.

That being said, they have more TE and DL that you can shake a stick at but hard to believe they pass on OJ Howard or J. Allen. So it makes me beilve they are not a BPA strategy.

Time for Ozzie to pack his bags, horrible pick with who was on the board. Ozzie your time has passed. Thank you for what you have done. Steve time to make some serious offseason moves after this year.

Yeah, based on all of his production last year and that fact that Harbs thinks he is a nice kid.  Works for me.

How you pass on Allen top 3 pick and take a corner wow was a boarder first rounder. It is confirmed we have the worst receiving core in football.

The year we lost out on Dez Bryant is when Ozzie lost his mojo. Our drafts have been average at best!!!!

He's a second round pick, Ozzie time has passed

In several mocks he was 11th to Saints and not pass the 1st round.

Relax, we can still find some pass rushing, edge setting DE's in the following rounds

Never was that high ever we passed on Allen Howard and foster. A reaction to what bengals have done and Bryant coming back.

This could be the WORST pick ever.

It is Ozzie has lost his mind, best player available went out the window with this pick.

It that a Bad thing? Say they Take Howard. What do they target in the 2nd round? A lesser CB, what's left of Pass rusher or WR. O-line.

I agree, not a sexy pick. But the Ravens defense falls off a cliff when J Smith gets hurt, which is often. They reached for a need.

Our cornerback play last year and the year before stunk to high heaven. Ravens fans have been crying like little girls over our lack of choosing CB's in the draft. We pick one. Still not happy. Not surprised.

Just can't get excited about this pick, at all. If he has an immediate impact, like a Marcus Peters(who I hope Oz would pick 2 yrs ago)-type rookie season or shuts down AJ, Antonio, and other elite receivers...I'll change my tune but for now....C+ grade.

Yes but there were at least 8 players higher in he board. Best player available, guess not.
