As do I. You mean the great and powerful Sami was wrong?

I've lost all hope for humanity.

yup..this forum just goes into a denial out of for the love of ozzie love fest.

I said huff was one of most non-instinctive players that we could sign and was only an athlete. I got a plethora of negs and what do you know? Ozzie knows best..

he probably would have drafted him 2006 as aside from reed he's never shown interest in guys that ballhawk over guys that run and jump

I'm just sorry the organization is fashioning DeCosta to take over the reigns after that senile hack calls it quits and not you. If you were half the savant you claim to be, you'd be the best GM in the league.

i'd say i have a 70% to 30% right to wrong ratio..

the difference between me and everyone else here is not only do i own up to my errors I also take credit for my correct ones.

Some people nievely think he can fix that and turn it into a strength. Not a learned skill. Have it don't have it.

Jimmy didn't have it and learned it real fast.

Maybe I could be? There are lots of people out there who have better eyes for talent then people who are actually in position. The best people arent always the ones who are in charge you know..

I said at the end of the season that this FO will show if its evolved by letting B.Will walk and resign wagner. We could have signed wagner and got Pryor for the amount of dosh we spent on the vastly overrated williams.

our FO is declining big time.

Who are you again?

I expect Marlon to be eased in in certain packages over the first five or six weeks. I expect him to start opposite Jimmy at some point this year. ....as early as our bye week.

The FO refers to him as quality depth. That means he's the guy if someone goes down and I am anticipating him earning the job, ( over Carr ), this season.

Everybody saying Humphrey was BPA. Go to draft forum and list your top 12 players so after picks tonight there will be no debate when anybody says ravens drafted one of their top players.

Mincah is better than Humphrey imo no doubt about it

Which I see as no issue.

It's like saying Morris Claiborne was better at LSU than Patrick Peterson.

Okay, so? Both have All-Pro potential.

I think Marlon will be a very, very good pro for the Ravens, but Mincah is special.

Sure...

Garrett, Thomas, Williams, Hooker, Lattimore, Wilson, Adams, Fournette, Reddick, Allen, Humphrey, and Howard, not necessarily in that order.

Wasn't saying anything of relevance lol. I like Humphrey(somewhat), don't hate the pick, have my doubts about not taking a talent like OJ but whatever...

just stating that when I watch film on Humphrey I keep paying attention to mincah. You brought him up and I just threw my 2 cents lol

I wasn't necessarily making that reply to you; it was negged at first and I was explaining why it shouldn't be a big deal to say Mincah is better.

If he his, who cares? That just means Alabama now churned out two top 15 talents in the secondary in back to back years.

Hey if Humphrey doesnt work well at corner I would love to see him at safety. Keep everything in front of him and let him fly.

He has great range and wont ever have to turn his back to the qb. Let him read and react

Thing is, what he does really well jefferson does really well and has proven  it IN the NFL.

Idk hes got more speed than jefferson. I could honestly see Humphrey play FS. Hes got the range and hes god great closing speed.

I dont see the problem with ball skills. Its when he has to turn his head to fimd the ball. At safety he wont have to do that; all he'd have to do is read and react. Thats what hes best at

I wasn't happy with the pick but he should be a solid corner. He puts me in the mindset of Ike Taylor. Good size and speed and always ready to tackle. Ike was never the best but did well in a zone blitz scheme.

THeres a difference between saying a pick was MY bpa... and being able to believe he was the TEAMS bpa.

What dont you get about that?

I love the pick. You can never have enough good Corner's. Our secondary looks ridiculously good now. We just have to help them out with a better pass rush. I hope Correa and Kaufusi pan out, or Ozzie has something up his sleeve.

cant see it with correa. i'm certain the FO regret that pick..only saving grace was the trade ups got them some decent players in the 4th.

First of all welcome to the Ravens Marlin.

I say this could be a strong possibility when his biggest neg is covering the deep pass.

I Just love the over-reaction.  And all this talk about value.  Obviously you can disagree with the picture because of value, but that's your value.  We don't what the FO valued him as.

I'm not really sure that the pick was the best value, but it's hard to find press corners and since they're so important to Pees defense, I get why they would want to reach on one a little bit. He's a super young guy though and he won't have to start right away, so the situation is pretty ideal for him.

I like the pick. I wanted a DE or CB, because we keep losing games in the 4th quarter. I honestly would take another cb if its the bpa. A good CB is one of the most valuable commodities in the nfl, and garners huge cap space on a contract, but if you can draft a good one like we did here, and get a good starter, it frees up money to buy other fa positions of need, which Ozzie gets, so I am all for it.

I wonder how many complainers will be wearing a Humphrey jersey soon? This dudes gonna be a beast playmaker, roughing up wr's

Changing your belief after ravens player picked?? Who are the players you think are the best or fit the best that's left on board?? Or you gonna wait til ravens pick and say he was the BPA . Who do you like best now that's available?? Who are the players you believe are the 10 best available with data you collected?? Not after ravens pick and say well this guy said he was a top 10 player. Who you like now?
