I think him and Carl Davis are on the serious bubble.

Davis can be a rotational run stopper, Z Smith is a poor mans JJ

I don't know why he gets thought of as a safety? Just because he hits hard? From what I've seen from him he rarely is lost in coverage WRs never beat him outright. He did have a habit of biting on some double moves but every college CB has that problem because they want to make a play. The Clemson tape there wasn't a single time where he was beaten outright. He was hip to hip. Mike Williams never separated at the top of his routes. Mike Williams got him on jump balls which is so hard to defend for any CB even in the NFL. He did get a PI call but it could've gone either way plus the safety was late  into the coverage.

Dude his skillset screams SS. Everything he can do very well is what you want in your SS. He will redefine the position better than Chancellor. It's not only members here saying that about him. ESPN analysts, NFL network analysts and even PFF said it.

Watch his highlights which are his best plays. Many of his plays the WR dropped the throw and he partially faceguarded while he got in the way of the throw having no clue where the ball was. And that was with a ferocious rush behind him and less than NFL quality QBs throwing to the receiver. His int's aren't very impressive at all. Not saying he can't get better. His deep coverage while needing lot of work for a NO. 1Cornerback is exceptional for a SS. Not many SS can be matched against a legit WR at all. As a SS he will be a perennial all pro.

It would not shock me if we yet again have a ravens draft where the first 2 round picks dissapoint and the middle round guys are the ones who end up being the players for us.

I watched more bowser tape and i'm not sure about him...he lacks instincts and seems too raw for a 2nd round pick.

After watching more film of Lattimore, Sidney Jones and conely I really wish i could speak with harbs and ozzie and ask them to explain how humphrey was far and away a better corner than the last two

Also, not picking OJ howard or Rueben Foster is basically a mistake. The latter is AT LEAST bobby wagner and OJ howard is as polished of a TE i've seen in years in both the receiving and running game.

While humphrey is nowhere near the mistake elam was, he and bowser will not be pro bowl players. thats my guess. I think Humphrey will have good and bad moments and will be a solid corner .

I think the guys that ends up being our best player this year are Wormley, T.Williams and Siragusa.

You could also try to speak with the other GMs who all seemingly has Humphrey as either the best or 2nd best corner in the draft.

He's got all the measurables you could ask for, sounds like his biggest issues are tracking the ball and making plays downfield.

Sounds familiar to what we saw with young Jimmy Smith. He would blanket guys but not turn around to play the ball once it came his way. I remember a preseason game (I think) against Dwayne Bowe where he was practically velcro'd to the guy but Bowe ended up catching a few passes because Jimmy either didn't anticipate the throw or was slow to react. He's obviously corrected that.

One thing he does undoubtedly better than Jimmy is tackle. Some of those hits are just nasty.

I think the FO has soured a lot of zadarius smith. He's just so pathetic at pass rushing it's scary.

I'll never forget when Harbs said after a game in 2015 that ZDS was "just there." LMAO.

Haha that was after the Week 2 meltdown against Oakland in 2015, same game were we allowed a game-winning TD drive with under 2 min left. Jernigan had a roughing the passer penalty that pushed them past the 50. The defense got spanked and Harbs was not happy. That was also the week after Suggs went down with his Achilles
