Apparently the 49ers were very enamored with this player to the point that they would have taken him much earlier in trade back scenarios, so it works to get him at 31.

I don't see how we can put a competitive offense out there. It's just not possible..

this has to be the worst O in the league.

Maybe. But we got next year to fix it.

Frankly I don't blame them. 5 minute commercial breaks after every pick? The 49ers have probably already submitted their choice at this point, and they haven't announced PIttsburgh's yet.

There's no reason 32 draft picks should take 4 hours.

I agree. Advertising nightmare lmao I like betting on the picks and trying to predict them as they come up.

They're being smart. Take good players with upside, and wait for a year where there's actually NFL-caliber QBs in the draft.

They can field the team they have and still finish with a top 5 pick easily just based on talent alone.

Their very strategy since 1954. Rattle off these qbs that are coming down the pike? Wait for what? The other 5 -8 teams with nfl qbs to contract from the league?

it's stupid that in the 1st round they could get so far behind as well - why do they need so much analysis on every pick... just make sure you dont get too far behind

Our reactionary pick tomorrow will be..... Cam Robinson!

I wouldn't have problem with it. Getting a mauler at guard is something we neeed.

didnt actually think he would fall to 47. just hate that we have to face him twice a year. hes gonna make our life hell. the steelers now have an unquestioned elite defense

I hate that, if they develop him right he'd going to be damn good, hopefully they don't.

McDowell is my guy for our next pick, I'd honestly trade up for him. Jernigan was the same type of questionable motor guy, but I think McDowell is just better.

Don't put too much stock into mocks and draft "experts" but only WF had Humphries as a solid top-half 1st rounder (#2 behind Lattimore). Most were late-1st to early 2nd behind or near Jackson, Conley, King, Wilson. Awuzie, and White.

Does seem like a reach. Most def not BPA
