True . I honestly thought he was best quarterback in this draft .

I think Houston gives him that chance.  It all depended on where he went and I think this was the best possible place for him.

I'm guessing they're putting together a package to trade for a proven QB.

Do you think they are that smart ?

So who's falling to us? Who do we pick? Do we just stick with Barnett if Allen and Foster are both gone?

With the list of players available, we surely trade down? It seems too much like an Ozzie thing to do.

Have to echo what NFL Network was saying..

Colts - Luck

Titans - Mariota

Texans - Watson

The AFC South is building up a young solid core of QBs. Oh by the way...... we play the AFC South this year. So of course the AFC South gets better when we play them.

The Texans getting a rookie QB doesn't make our schedule that much tougher.

Again, best player available.  Weddle at 32 isn't going to factor into me passing on a potential transcendent talent.

So if Green Bay had the power to draft Luck a few years ago they should have done it?  BPA does require they actually see the field.  I am not advocating for drafting purely based on need because teams that do that lose.  I am advocating against blindly following a board and ignoring what players you actually have.  Going from Weddler to Hooker is a small upgrade at best, but grabbing Reddick or Barnett or even trading back to grab great 2nd round picks is a MUCH bigger upgrade to the roster overall.

The goal of the draft is to make your roster stronger and I would rather go from a 3 to an 8 at a major impact position then an 9 to a 9.5.

Will 'Zona go Howard?

That's my guess.  Niklas never worked out and Gresham isn't anything special.

I think The Cardinals take Hooker or Howard.

Howard makes sense, could reach on Kizer, Palmer is pretty much done

QB is different because you can't get both guys on the field.  You can easily gets 3 safeties.

Do you think we luck into Malik Hooker or Allen or Rueben Foster or Hassan Reddick or OJ Howard.

Plus the Packers have more than two years of Rodgers still.

Kirk Cousins beat us as a rookie and Josh McCown thre for 500 yards on us. Even with an improved defense, we could see Watson as a rookie light us up.
