2017 NFL Draft Day 1 "Game Thread"

Our last draft night. 

Anyhow, let's talk about the picks/moves of all the teams as they happen.  No mocks (other than mocking the analysts/choices) please.  

Once we make our pick, a "Welcome to Baltimore..." thread will be started for that player and discussion of him should go there.  This one should continue on with other team choices.  

Since the draft doesn't start for a few hours, this will stay locked until later, but we wanted to let you know we were going to do this so you could plan.

And PLEASE, I'm begging you, don't spoil the announcements.  No matter what you see on Twitter, etc., don't post spoilers before the pick is formally announced on TV.

I wonder if the color of the jackets or suits these prospects are wearing is any indication of the team that will draft 'em, or are they just adding to the suspense?   Anyway these rookies are sporting some colorful attire, lol.

I agree Cobra.  I just hope some QB's go early. Personally I am hoping the Ravens pick WR Zay Jones (with 2nd pick).

Yeah, I have to admit it kinda dampens my enthusiasm for the season a bit if I am to be honest.  I will really miss you guys and gals!!!

So if a bunch of QB's go early, then we have more talent fall to us. If QB's don't go early, then more likely someone will get nervous and may trade up (with us) to get one.

im pretty sure its been leaked that he actually is the pick so hopefully that annoying drama was over and we can focus on the good drama coming up

I second this. Please just permanently ban those fecklessbags so they can't do it for every pick. First time should be final strike.

I wonder if the booing Goodell thingy will continue.  I am not a Goodell fan, but they should really stop that mess, lol.  It will probably be louder with so many folks attending since it is outside if they continue it.
