Ok there are several kinds of mocks. There is trying to guess exactly what a team will do. There is what a team could do. Then there is what you would like the team to do. I guess the only rules are it has to be feasible. Realistically is there at least somewhat a chance of the players being available where you mock them to. And of course you can do a hybrid form.

Round1 pick 21-27 Cam Robinson. Athletic long and powerful. He has bad habits. But is there a better place for him to work on his technique? We have 2 of the best in the business in future all pro Ronnie Stanley and future hall of famer Marshal Yanda! Two of the best technicians. After losing 2 really good ones to free agency. The ravens Offensive line is shaping up with 3 young big studs in Stanley Lewis and Robinson. Robinson is a drive blocking mauler that can anchor our run game and help young stud Dixon get his game in gear and set the table for the offensive game plan.

A dominant offensive line helps the team all around. Joe feels comfortable and can set and throw. And we know what happens when Joe is comfortable in the pocket! A dominant Offensive line allows Dixon to break off yards in chunks which wears the defense out and corners the defense into committing to trying to contain the run.

The protection Joe gets in the pocket allows his receivers more time to create space. The offense can run a mix of run and throw to keep opponents off balance while sustaining drives, controlling the clock and set up for big plays. Nothing better in football than long drives culminating in touchdowns. Can't lose leads when opponents don't get much opportunity to score while our offense scores almost every possession and takes its time doing it. Yanda Stanley Robinson and Lewis is as good a wall as you will see in the league. We find a dominant center and the offensive line is going to be trophy in bank!

Round2 Tim Williams- He is as explosive and flexible as it gets. His run defense is underrated. Once he bulks up he will be a 3 down edge rusher. He has very ideal athleticism to drop in coverage.  He will give our defense it's best speed rush since Peter Boulware. Defense is coming around to! If Williams is off the board already. Then Carl Lawson is as awesome. Only difference is Williams a touch more fluid for coverage duties. However for a powerful rocked up dude Lawson is very athletic!! And one of my favorites in draft. Like Williams he will be our best pure speedrusher since our legendary peter boulware!!

Round2 JuJu Smith Schuster. The big physical receiver we need to make the tough catches. Has the raw athleticism to become a premier route runner. His playspeed is very underrated. 4.52 official and he plays fast. One of my favorite players in the draft. Loves football and will work hard. He will play for you and play like a raven. If we could get Westbrook later I would consider Dan Feeney if he is available here. Elflein is an idea but his game is power and I'm not sure he is as strong at the NFL level. Once I watch more of him and sure his plus power shows up in the NFL I will definitely take him here if Westbrook could be an at option next round.

Round3 Justin Evans- Good instincts fast athletic and an enforcer. He will learn from the smartest safety in the game. Jefferson will set an example as well. Management made a mistake not bringing in young studs to learn from Ed and Ray. Justin Evans will play in nickel dime situations. He can tackle and hit well enough to play LB on nickel downs and cover well enough to patrol the slot. I could end up replacing him when I watch more of the safety's. Because this is a great safety class. Like Johnson, Maye or Williams from Utah. But for now Justin Evans is the pick.

Round3 DeDe Westbrook. I know he could be off the board. However this is an awesome WR. He is negged for his size of 6'0 180lbs. But same size as Isaac Bruce and Chad Johnson. Westbrook is better than Ross in my opinion. He can win at any level. A longer better route running Desean Jackson. It wouldn't surprise me if he is the best WR in this draft!!

For those of you that want a clean character player then insert ISAAC ASIATA. He should be able to play center and put the cherry on top of our offensive line. An intimidating mauler with enough athleticism. I would take Dorian Johnson here but he will probably already be drafted. If he is on the boar then he would be it. Jermaine Eluemunor is  an idea as well.

Round4 Jake Butt. If Everett is on the board I would take him. He is a seam threat and a surprising blocker at 235lbs. Gives the offense all kind of exotic explosive looks. However  Jake Butt has very underrated speed and athleticism. He is a young version of Pitta. He is very intelligent and will fight to make tough catches. He is faster than credited for and is a good route runner and elusive after the catch. Unlike Pitta he is a very very willing blocker.

Round5 Avery Gennesy OT Texas A/M- First team all SEC his first year playing. He is short for a tackle but could make for a fine guard/Center that could play Tackle if necessary. Many SEC coaches believe he outplayed his more heralded predecessors. Very good athleticism that got considerable movement in the run game. He is really flying under the radar. He could get drafted far higher if NFL management picks up on him. He could really be a real steal!!

Round6 Darreus Rogers. He plays faster than his numbers. He can make tough catches and get yards after catch. He is going to be a real weapon as a NO.3 receiver. Considering Howard Wilson here. Small school cornerback that has the traits of a top shelf NO. 2 cornerback. Considering WR Travis Dural as well. But Rogers edged!! If we go WR with this pick. Because Howard Wilson has skills!

As with all mocks it is tough to decide. Ravens could use more picks for sure. However don't have a player of value that can bring multiple mid round picks. Of course we could keep trading down to create picks. But Cam Robinson is going to be so valuable as the enforcer of our offensive line. I know some don't like him. But he truly is a freak. He is very athletic for a big guy. Look at him stand next to Jonathan Allen a 290lb  lineman. Allen looks like an undersized LB next to him. And all of his flaws are coachable. It is bad habits and not athletic limitations.

I considered placing Alex Anzalone in Round3-4 because he seems to be an under radar player that could be available after round 2-3 even. He needs to get a little stronger for being a 6'3 245lb LB but he has elite size and athleticism. I considered Taywan Taylor as well but Asiata is to good to not draft. If he can play center he is the mauler Harbaugh is looking for. Mocks are so damn tough. Would be cool for ravens to have one more of a round2/3 pick

I like the gennessee pick, don't see that often around here but he's a decent OT prospect and I could really see us taking him in the middle

The lack of a corner would annoy me - but if you swapped Justin Evans for a corner like Witherspoon or Douglas or a falling 2nd rounder then I'd be pretty happy - obviously with the proviso that Asiata is the pick over Westbrook

If  Westbrook is the pick then that of course changes things like Howard Wilson will be the pick over Rogers. He is the small school guy with top shelf NFL skills and size.

I seriously considered a cornerback in place of Evans. But in Evans we get a round 1 talent. I think he is as good/better than Karl Joseph. If not for an injury he probably is drafted before Joseph in 2016 draft!! Besides let's get a young intelligent stud safety that could excel as a free safety and SS to learn from the smartest safety in the game before he slows and retires. Evans has range and can tackle very well. At 6'0 203lbs he can hit like a safety 25lbs bigger.

Management made a mistake waiting until Ed and Ray retired to draft replacements. It resulted in disastrous reaches for Elam and Brown. And nobody to learn from. Evans has all the skills you look for in a safety. There is no better  place for him to learn than from Weddle. As there is no better place for Cam to learn than from Yanda and Stanley.
