Mike Wallace is the only receiver the Ravens have. We have many players that can catch 15~20 passes a season but no one other than Wallace that can provide stability and comfort to Joe. Ravens need to pick up 2 receivers in this years draft and Howard, Williams or Davis would be a great start.

It's going to be a long year on Offense if we don't grab a possession, 3rd down, tough contested catching wr.
Ju Ju Schuster Smith is a younger and more explosive version of Q. Very underrated as well.
We need to draft Ju Ju in the 2nd, it's that simple. If we add Ju Ju to Wallace and Perriman, and hopefully Camp and Moore as well, our receiving core will be as complete and as dangerous as anybody's.
We have to add an awesome possession wr though. Looks like Zay might fit the mold as well

I would be ecstatic if we drafted Zay Jones!  He has been my pick for WR since day 1.

We have ONE legitimate WR on the roster in Wallace who is 30. Yes, we do need more weapons.

We have a terrible habit of focusing on all the "good" in our players and completely ignoring the competition. We have no playmakers. At all. Period. Think Mike Wallace is "good enough"? Take a look at A Brown, Beckham, Bryant, Marshall and J Nelson. Chris Moore is a future star? Let me introduce you to Julio Jones. When guys like Mike Wallace are our #3 receiver, then you'll know we're back at the top.

this is laughable. Not every team can have a top 10 receiver in the league. In fact 22 teams can not have a top 10 receiver. Do you really think that the FO is only focusing on the "good" in our receivers because one of the staff writers wrote a puff piece about our receiving core?  I would also argue that having one of the WR you listed doesn't doesn't mean a team is on "top". Brandon Marshall has never made it to the post season and last year his numbers did even come close to Mike Wallaces.  The Cowboys have only had 3 winning seasons in with Dez on their team.  Julio Jones has been a part of only 2 winning seasons in his entire career. I am not saying we have a fantastic set of proven receivers and I don't think anyone in the FO is saying that.  I will say I think you are underestimating MW potential.  And I will also say that if he becomes our #3 receiver this year I will be surprised but he will be the best #3 receiver in the league but if thats what you think this team needs to win you are sorely mistaken.

JuJu is an animal indeed! It may be a blessing that he had a horrible QB that hurt his numbers. I'm not sure if he's available unless we move up in the second and snatch him. Kopp on film looks just as nasty but one must factor the competition. I think it's a solid plan B

I like that kid too.  Hes a great route runner, best body control I've seen in a while, good hands, and quick.  His father had a long career in the NFL and his Uncle is Jeff Blake and it shows especially in his routes.   Sure he has played lesser competition but so has C. Davis.  And being the all time NCAA D1 career and single season receptions leader is nothing to sneeze at.

ive been a ravens fan for to long and seen to many drafts go by, you guys ot not get your hopes up in thinking ozzie will move up in the draft to get a WR or anyo other playmaker on the offensive side of the ball. All he wants to do is move back and get more picks to waste on small school guys that will eventually bust. all of our WR are 1 trick ponys deep ball or bust and itll be the same thing this season.. sameo ravens

Agreed. Kupp would be a good back up plan. This is one draft I don't see us trading up in. Too many AWESOME players between 20-100 to give up any picks. In most drafts, I think Ju Ju is a first rounder for sure. Hopefully he slips to our second pick. He just mite. He's been going later than that in a lot of mocks. I really really hope we draft Ju Ju, but bottom line is we need a tough possession wr. I don't think anyone can argue that's not the case

!st round RB cook who would be mad?

I saw that on that big group mock today. I wouldn't pick Cook at 16, but it would be interesting. We do need playmakers

More than anything Joe needs more accuracy. If you look at Perriman and Moore highlights their great at catching on the run but Joe needs more receivers like Boldin type.

If Corey Davis is around at #16, take him. Otherwise, take top edge rusher and target JuJu in round 2.

Agree 100%!
I almost think the value of Getting Ju Ju in the second, and drafting an edge rusher in the first, would be better than vise versa.....but it would be hard to pass on Davis.
I'm a huge JuJu fan though. His 2015 tape is top notch. I think he can be everything Davis can be, plus JuJu has great character and drive. He just might be a tiny bit less explosive than Davis. But Smith has better hands imo and might be better overall when it's all said and done. Imagine how much better JuJu would look going against the competition Davis faced.
I'm really hoping Barnett is there at 16.
I like Lamp too.
Trading down 5-10 spots and getting an extra awesome pick for this draft, while also picking Takk, or Taco, or Harris in the first would be sweet.
Something like this would be sweet.
Trade down in the first, draft Lamp. Take Lawson with the extra pick. JuJu in the second. Then we still have 2 3rd rounders. Time to do work on Thursday and Friday FO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CANT WAIT

People aren't sleeping on the current Ravens receivers Garrett. The problem is the current roster has no name or production recognition save Mike Wallace. When you have a bunch of players with no production, it is normal for them to be underestimated.

I think this year we have a shot at drafting either a Smith Schuster or Cooper Kubb in the later rounds because the closer we get to the draft the more I believe we are going to augment our O-line with the first pick.

By later rounds do you mean the second round? Cuz I think both of those guys are going the second for sure, maybe Kupp slips to the third.

I was thinking one of them may be available to us with the first of the 3rd round picks...

Totally agree! JuJu might end up being a steal in the second round. If we stay at 16 I think it would only have to be for Derek Barnett or Reuben Foster unless someone else falls unexpectedly, if they aren't there a trade back would be ideal. Then we can pick up Takk, or Cam Robinson wouldn't be a bad idea either.

I think JuJu is going in the second and I think he's exactly what we need. Short term and long term. I hope we make it happen

I also think Eric spoke very highly of him in the presser as well. Moreover, if 2016 production were discounted, Smtih Schuster is in the conversation as one of the top wideouts in the country no?

Well guys like Mike Wallace were our #1 (Torrey Smith) when we were winning the Lombardi, so not very intelligent to suggest we won't be on top without one.

We're not trying to win a fantasy league or a Madden football game here.

Boldin was our #1 when we won the SB.
