Let me set this story straight: Despite having one of the best OL of all-time, Jimmy Johnson invested very little in that OL. His HIGHEST picks ever were 3rd rounder Erik Williams and 2nd rounder Mark Stepnoski. The remainders (Newton, Gogan, Gesek and Tuinei) were a hodge-podge mix of free agents and 6th/7th round picks. Even HOF Larry Allen was only a 2nd rounder (picked by Jones). My point is the Ravens are crazy for spending this many high picks on the OL when they are so deficient at every skill position on the team. OL can be found later on (see Marshal Yanda and Alex Lewis). Save those 1st rounders for skill positions like Johnson did (Aikman, Irvin, Harper, E Smith, K Smith, Maryland).

This isn't the 90s anymore lol teams have ample tape on those late round gems now, which boosts their stock into the early rounds.

For an elite line you must have at least 3/5 blue chip lineman with two average to above average complimentary lineman--e.g., the Cowboys, who had the elite guys like Smith, Martin and Frederick, but also had good complimentary guys like Leary and Free.

Meet the Ravens 6th Round Pick: WR Deangelo Yancy (3 separate meetings with the Ravens)

That's awesome. Ozzie needs to replace the holes left by the departures of Tommy Streeter and Aaron Mellette.

Antonio Brown & Brandon Marshall agree with you, the Ravens should definitely trade up in the 1st Round for the highest rated WR and stud play-maker. Just imagine how they would look if they did that to take WR Kevin White, DGB, LaQuan Treadwell & Justin Hunter - the size and speed - WOW. That would be like 18 Super Bowls in a row! With that WR core, Flacco would throw at least 80 TDs and 10,000 yards in a season......

85% OF ALL PLAYERS DRAFTED ARE BUSTS!

Once again, I ask you what you're burnin. I want some. lol
trade up in the first.............DGB and Hunter were picked in the second round.........

You're right, this isn't the 90s anymore. And that makes your view even worse. In the 1990s teams ran the ball.........alot. You needed a top notch OL and a damn good fullback. Now they throw it 60 times a game and don't even bother to pretend to run the ball. Tell me again........which of the past 10 super bowl winners has invested multiple first round picks in their OL? Yeah, I thought so.

And for the record, the Cowboys team that invested ZERO first round picks in it's OL like could crap on this team that spent three picks on the same thing.
