Why would you fear us considering him before you'd even watched his tape if this was an unbiased opinion?

because I had watched a couple of Michigan games (casually) and i caught a few dodgy plays by peppers and i wanted to see if it was just an anomaly. Sadly that wasnt the case and i saw much of the same.

Corey Davis kept mentioning Marcus Mariota was his favorite NFL qb in a espn interview. Wonder if he knows something.

I'm not seeing where Peppers is a poor tackler tbh. His coverage opportunities and plays in coverage were lacking, but he's nothing like Elam as a tackler.

For what it's worth, Landon Collins was a pure box safety at Alabama before becoming a pretty decent all-around safety for the Giants, at least if he continues his progression, so it's not like coverage skills can't be learned. I'm strongly against Peppers at #16, but round 2 would be fine with me.

Cam Robinson seems to be making a comeback. While Forrest Lamp is probably a late round1. In drafts strong in the offensive line Lamp would be a round2-3 pick. I liked Whitehair a lil better and he was later round2. Lamp is solid but all so overrated so far in this draft!!

Ravens is probably the best spot for Cam to land. He has technique problems as well as balance issues. However it is of the coachable variety. Not slow and uncoordinated variety. And ravens have 2 of the best technicians in the league in Yanda and Stanley. If he works hard listens to coaches and watches Stanley and Yanda he could set new standards at what teams look For in Right tackle

Don't see that happening. Robinson has had excellent coaching at Alabama but he's never improved those issues. Reminds me so much of Michael Oher the skill set is there but just seems lazy with his technique

I strongly doubt it, I'd be surprised if we trade before we're on the clock on Thursday night. I'm sure the FO would rather wait and gauge the guys on the board at our pick before making a decision to move back - and teams ahead of us would want to do the same so trading up, unless we're way overpaying, isn't likely either. Any team would hate to trade their pick and then come draft day a steal falls right into what would have been their lap.

Rumored to be Malik Hooker...

The fact his agent has said that his client will talk to police after the draft is suspicious in itself. Most teams are going to want to know who he is and find out the truth. This could be a case where a girl is trying to ruin his reputation to cost him millions, or it could be true and they are trying to hide it so he still gets drafted high.

Regardless of if the rumor is true or not, it's pretty much always bad look to be going to hotel room parties with strangers. That alone will probably hurt his stock. Whoever it is.

People would still hang this on him even if that is true

Yikes, this is way worse than the bong incident. No way they're getting drafted, whoever it is.

Wow! Perhaps among the most gifted defensive player in the draft and now this? I just wish it was bong instead so he could drop into our laps... but sexual assault simply erases him from our board.... even the allegation of it I think given Steve's clear stance on this issue.

And now people saying it's definitively not Hooker.  Sounds like it's definitely an Ohio State guy but no idea who and if it's even an actual situation and not someone trying to screw over one of the players.

Per Tony Pauline:

I was told two interesting nuggets on the Baltimore Ravens last night: 1) if they hold onto the 16th selection, offensive tackle Cam Robinson enters the conversation as the pick and 2) if they trade down, the target is likely Takkarist McKinley, a favorite of Ozzie Newsome over the past six months.

I like McKinley but I'm not sure if he can be like Terrell Suggs.

Perhaps Gareon Conley or marshon lattimore?

My thoughts exactly. If it ends up being Lattimore and was just a silly bong video we could have been in prime position to reap the benefits...sexual assault stuff? Nope.

And Conley it is.  Apparently a strong denial and the story itself is awfully fishy from the alleged victim's perspective.

We haven't been a good drafting team in the higher rounds for a while. If we end up with Cam Robinson or Tak as our first round pick I give that a D grade. Ozzies philosophy is dated..he's obsessed with massive linesman and looks at technique second.

Cam Robinson at 16 is awful...flat out awful and I'll say that now. Taak is a meh ..out of all the edge rushers available i have him as around the 7th best .

Ozzie and I just seem to see things differently.

I hope this is not true. Seems we are constantly playing whack-a-mole and musical chairs and those games usually end badly.

I can live with Robinson as the pick. He could be a great guard. He's not my first choice, but if Mike Williams and Barnett are off the board, then so be it. It'll groan a bit at first, but then be happy when he's opening big running lanes.

He's a second round talent elevated to the first because it's a poor oline class
