Myles Garrett tried to out muscle and bully cam like he does other tackles. You can't do that with cam. If he gets his hands on you, it's over. His footwork just isn't that great for speed rushers. That's why everyone projects him better as a guard

Or right tackle which is the strong side of oline. Power guys line up on the right. His arms are too long for him not to play tackle. Plus you can chip with the tight end or RB to allow him to get those big paws on guys and stall them

In today's NFL, defenses move guys around to attack whichever tackle is weaker. The best /speed rushers don't just line up on right side for LTs.

i wouldnt hate the cam pick - as long as he's coming in to play guard - if we are drafting him to play tackle then he's not the best lineman but i think he projects as the best interior lineman in this class

To be clear, I don't want to see us taking an o lineman in the 1st round. If we do, it better be because Williams, Davis, Barnett, Foster and Reddick are gone and then we trade back. Even that will be disappointing, but picking one (doesn't matter which one) at 16 with one of those guys on the board will make me SMH.

Nah the tape is pretty telling there as well. Also Garrett was only rushing from the outside, had plenty of opportunity to do an inside move on Robinson but never did. Would have done a lot better if he did some more stuff there but considering how dangerous Hurts is on the move, it makes some sense that they wanted him to contain the QB.

Any QB, any O lineman (none are worthy at 16), John Ross (not a fit), O.J. Howard (6 TEs already, don't need 7), McCaffery (don't think we're interested), Conley (we're waiting until 2nd round for CB ... he's probably off our board anyway).
