Hey just to let everyone know! Every time the ravens draft a player the fans want....he busts....Ala matt elam, arthur brown, sergio kindle can remember a lot of excited people with those guys. While fans were fumming over Flacco, jimmy smith and ronnie stanley.....especcially smith lol....

You're telling me there isn't one specific player you'd want above all the rest of the reaiistic options? disappointed doesn't mean the same as hate. You can like a pick and still be disappointed we didn't get your guy.

Sometimes I hate that "in Ozzie we trust" slogan. Like we have to agree with everything the front office does. We been missing the playoffs lately, just saying.

Well I dont really have a guy im totally in love with this year. I like a lot of guys but theres not one specific guy I loce in the first. I really want desmond king in day 2 though...i guess hes my guy

Plus i think im tired of being disapointed lol. Last year was very disapointing for me so I came in this year with a different attitude lol

I thought Peppers was going to slide to the second? We need to trade up before Indy to select Corey Davis. We need to go all in. Can't keep signing veteran bandaids. Surround Flacco with as many weapons as possible. Look at all the firepower in the North (with the exception of the Browns after they lost Pryor). 

 

Edit - guess whoever neg'd me is perfectly content with our mediocre WR corps.

Flacco - was hoping we'd find a way to get Ryan, but that quickly was clear it was not possible. Then I wanted Flacco - cause, we'll, I think we needed a QB.

Smith - The only thing that had me fuming on the draft day when we got Smith is that I thought we lost him in the trade debacle, when he was sitting there ready for us to pick him. 

Stanley - leading up to the draft, I didn't want him, but as we got closer, I started to see the rationale, but I still wanted either Tunsil or Ramsey. Then the gas mask happened and I thought, we'll I still hope we get Ramsey, but was cool with Stanley. 

As so many people have said - I have in mind who I want (that is in the realm of reasonable) ... in order Williams, Barnett, Davis, Foster, Reddick. The O linemen ... if we take one of them and one of those guys I listed are still there, I'll be ... we'll disappointed - not angry. That will last about 2 minutes and then I'll hear all the glowing reports on the guy we picked, hear our staff talk about him and hear from the guy himself and I'll shift right into the Ozzie we trust mode and welcome the guy as our newest Raven.

rest assured, Peppers has no real perfect position fit and he had a dilute urine test at the combine, he isn't getting picked at 16.

I understand that. We shouldn't have to agree with everything. I will use the term in situations like tonight, because, in the end all I'm saying is if they pick someone different than I wanted them to pick, it is silly for me to act like they made a tragic error given they've got a little more insight and experience in this than I do.

i will call for ozzies resignation. what the hell sense would this make. we have 2 very high caliber safeties, and a very good backup safety, and even if weddle retires that leaves us with 2 strong safeties. before the tony jefferson signing i would be ecstatic, but i will absolutely flip if this happens.
