In reference to Harbaugh talking about "players shouldn't wait until voluntary workouts to start their training." I'm thinking back on the season when Suggs came to training camp overweight, I could be wrong, but wasn't that the same season that he got injured early in the season, and missed the remainder of the season? If so, players training themselves before the voluntary workouts begin is vital, and Harbaugh makes a valid point. Learnt from Ray Lewis.

I hope that KC is the guy to watch for but I am having Deja Vu and cant stop comparing this to Arthur Brown. Hope that is not the case and KC lights it up this year

2015 he came to minicamp overweight. He was pretty much in game condition by training camp.

As long as they're in shape by training camp, nobody should really be that concerned.

my wish draft

Round 1. Mike Williams-WR-Clem
(He is our answer to AJ Green and Antonio Brown)

Round 2. Tim Williams-OLB-Bamma
(He is a Raven)

Round 3. Sid Jones--CB- Wash
(He is worth waiting for)

Round 3. Jalen Myrick-CB- Minn
(Most under rated CB in the draft)

Round 4. Ethan Pocic- C- LSU
(Helps secure a position of need / can come in and start)

Round 5. Noah Brown- WR- Ohio State
(he is raw but rare athletic gifts make him a great gamble in the 5th)

Round 6. Kareem Are - G/T-FSU
(Can play G or T and will move inside where is will fit well in Greg Romans style. Are is a big guy who can move but needs to be coached up) We have the guy for that!

Every team thinks they can get him in the third. I think a team that wants him will need to take him in the second.

Every team's fans think they can get him in the 3rd Round. Nobody knows what NFL teams think of him now. Medical treatments advance every day, but there has not been a single DB that has come back from an Achilles tear and been close to what they were before it happens. . Dee Milliner is the perfect example - much more talented than Jones but has never been anything other than an average CB at the NFL level after his Achilles injury. 40% of all NFL players that tear their Achilles never play again.

No way I'm taking that gamble in the 3rd Round when other top CBs like Teez, Tankersly, Moreau, etc will be there.

I absolutely agree with you on this one. Professional athletes should be hitting the gym 3-4 times a week all offseason to keep their numbers and muscle mass that took them 10-15 years to build. But that doesn't mean they need to stay in football shape year round. In fact, vets (nearing 30 yo) need to rest their bodies more than anything else in the offseason because a body can only take so much punishment. The smart ones do more yoga and work on their core because they usually can't do those things during the season.

It also scares the living heck out of me to see KC taking a similar path that Brown took. To be fair tho, Brown was drafted to start immediately and lost his job because he had no motor at all. KC was drafted because he's a freakish athlete with an insane V12 engine. We all knew he had a lot of developing to do and all the "draft experts" raved about his upside but knew he wasn't a day 1 starter.

lets reserve our judgement for after this year. If he's still where he is now then let's all panic together. If he does settle in then we can celebrate together and enjoy that v12 engine

I don't know what you're burnin but I want some. Zero chance those 3 corners are available in the 3rd?
Teez and Moreau definitely have a shot of going in the 1rst. Tankersly does too because of his size alone, but I'd bet he goes middle of the second at the latest
