You talk like it's a bad idea. You don't like 27 yr old All pro playmakers??Adding Gronk makes no sense? If he were 33 yrs old and cut then it would make sense right?? Cite who?? Seriously?? Google Gronk Trade and see what you find. Not saying it's going to happen but Belichick is making a lot of moves. He could be changing the offense altogether. How do you fit in all those weapons. Edelman, Hogan, The ascending Mitchell, Allen, Cooks, Gronk. Similar to when Moss was traded when Gronk/Hernandez arrived and patriots moved to a 2TE offense.

I'm not googling for you. You're the one that claimed "many are speculating" he'll be traded. Who?

And I clearly said it'd be awesome to have Gronk. It was literally my first sentence.

You listed a bunch of WRs and ask how will they fit Gronk in. Hmmm... idk. How do you work your all world TE into the mix when you've got Chris Hogan who needs his touches!

Im acting like it's a bad idea bc it's low hanging fruit and never going to happen.

Let's trade a 2nd for Odell Beckham! I mean they just signed Marshall... all those weapons. They probably don't want to resign him. And those antics on the sideline.... they're growing tired of it - amirite???

Dont tell me that can't happen or you're a homer. Guess you'd rather sign a 36 year old Boldin than an in his prime game breaker like Beckham.

CBS, espn NFL bleacher report have all speculated. I like Boldin. One of my favorites. But don't want him back. Prefer the 23 yr old version Boldin.

Jeremy Maclin is very realistic. KC likes its young WRs and with cap situation could trade him.

This is why....

Good lord, trade for someone with a Madden Curse looming over him? I'd call for Ozzie's head myself

Trading for Gronk?

Jesus.... Just. Even though Bellicheck has traded some great players the past few seasons why the hell would he trade a guy who might finish his career as a top 5 TE of all time?

Davis Webb becomes the best QB from this class - maybe not right away, but in a couple of years.

The Ravens wait until day 3 to draft a CB.

Davis Webb goes day 1

This makes zero since.  In the massive Tough Talk thread about Joe, there have been many, many people that are in between, for instance me.  I support Joe, but he has to play better, but cutting him or trading him or saying he needs some support around him makes me a homer? got it.

Sidenote, i expect a big trade in the first round, no idea who....what team, etc....

Yeah there are plenty of in between people, it is just so easy to get sucked into those thread arguments though that it really isn't worth posting in there.

I disagree, but we've all got our own boards and can judge our own value. To me he's fine value at 16, but there's lots of players I'd take over him that'll realistically be available at that pick

I'll edit this in: I don't think anyone here said he was bad value there, but as I said earlier, I don't view him as a top 10, maybe even top 15, player.

To each their own. Just out of curiosity who do you have ahead of him who would realistically have a chance of being there at 16?🤔

they have all speculated that the pats probably could trade gronk if they wanted to - in none of those articles is there any inkling that this is actually something the pats would or have considered doing...

in fact the top article when you google gronk trade is written the main new york jets beat writer (go figure) - of course he'd think that was the right move... because it would get gronk out of the division

Yes adding Gronk would be awesome. But it's not happening.

Who are the "many" that are speculating he'll be traded? Can you cite them?

And they won without him but with Bennett. Bennett's gone. He's Brady's best weapon and makes them a far more dangerous team.

They have no reason to move him. They have plenty of cap space so the cap dump is a moot point.

Its not happening. Doesn't make much sense for either side. Fantasy is fun but let's get back to predictions for the draft.... and ones that have even a slight possibility of happening.

Gronk is also coming off his third surgery concerning his back. I think this  may had some involvement on why The Patriots traded for a tight end  and Brandin Cook

Bold Prediction: Sidney Jones goes round 1. He was the top cornerback on a lot of peoples' list. Looking back Jaylon Smith barely made it to the second round, and secondary players are taken way higher than linebackers in today's NFL. The Cowboys knowingly knew he wouldn't play a snap in the NFL last season and still drafted him. I think a team like the Chiefs or Seahawks take the flier on him round 1. He will likely be back for the second half of the season as well.

Over under in how many games Gronk plays this year at 8?

Ill go over, but I still think he misses time

Back to Bold predictions....

Our FO drafts an Alabama prospect. Bold or obvious? Lol

As much as I want a pass rusher in the 1st round we don't get it. Derek Barnet will be taken. I'm praying not. Lol

Myles Garrett changes his mind and decides to attend the draft.  Once picked first overall, he comes out on the stage to greet Roger Goodell.  After an intricate handshake that Goodell completely bombs, Garrett chest bumps Goodell and sends him plummeting through the stage.  The crowd roars.  Goodell awakes from his stupor moments later to say that the Ravens are on the clock at #2 overall.

DeShaun is the first QB drafted

I think he ends up going to Washington which is another bold prediction for myself. Followed by Kirk Cousins being traded to Houston for their first round pick giving the Redskins 2 first round picks in the draft. One to secure Watson as Cousins' replacement and the other on defense or OL.

Deshaun watson will get drafted by either the 49ers or Bears (top 5 pick)

I'd love for this to happen. If Watson, Mahomes, and Trubisky went in the top fifteen, that'd be great for the Ravens.

I think he could do alright with the Bears. Though if San Fran gets him, then I hope they actually get someone to help him out in the second round. I think if he's still on the board when the Texans pick they'll definitely grab him.

A team wants trade up for a QB. Ravens trade down to late round 1 and pick up an extra round 2 and maybe  round3. Giving us 2 round2 picks and 3 round3 picks. And load up on top50 talents like JuJu/Ardarius Stewart, Moton, Conley,White,Njoku/Engram,Jarred Davis,Carl Lawson/Charles Harris/Tim Williams,Ogunjobi . Some examples of the players available!

Quincy Wilson, Rivers, Godwin, Feeney, Curti Samuel just to name some more.  So much talent in this draft, trading back is enticing
