They are switching to a 4-3 defense, I've seen Thomas mocked to the 49ers for this very reason. Buckner would kick inside to DT, Armstead most likely stays at DE and drafting Thomas or Garrett(if Browns pass on him) gives them 2 bookend DEs for their new defense.

i just really dont see thomas or armstead as a DE - to me it feels like they would have 3 3/5techs suited to the 3-4 but put them in a 4-3 front - i just dont see anyway they have all 3 of those guys on the field at once on passing downs which is where they'll make their money - it feels a little like the jets with richardson, wilkerson and then drafting leonard williams - they got stacked at one position and have been trying to trade away one of either wilkerson or richardson for the last couple of years

I don't know about that, everything I've watched of Thomas screams 3-tech DT and I don't really buy Armstead as a DE in the 4-3, to me he should be inside in that scheme.

I don't buy armstead anywhere in a 43. He can't penetrate the inside well and he doesn't eat space very well either. He can use his length as a 34DE and work those 1 on 1 matchups with the tackles but I just can't see him doing much else

Oh I don't think he'll be a bad player - the list is not guys who will bust per se but if he is going in the 1st round or early-mid 2nd which is where he's often mocked then I feel like it's a reach to be honest

I think he would be a good pick in the 2nd, for a different team of course. I think he could be a really dynamic playmaker, he just really wasn't utilized enough at UT.

To be fair, Stanley will man handle everyone ;)

Sid Jones drops to us in round 3 and Ozzie makes the call.

That would be a dream come true!

This is not gonna be a popular opinion but I really think the best value in this draft is Pass rush early in the second and CB early in the third.

i honestly have no idea who falls to us at 16 so be prepared for a curve ball with our first.

Barnett, And the top 2 WRs are probably gone so Ozzie needs to move up or settle for whoever falls. He may even move back but I hope not.

10 more days!!!!

Davis Webb becomes the best QB from this class - maybe not right away, but in a couple of years.

The Ravens wait until day 3 to draft a CB.

Stop stealing my guy

Stanley isn't a power player he is a wall off technician. He grows into that ultra long athletic frame and he could eventually be that drive blocking man handler. He has the athleticism frame length and technique

Ravens trade up for Foster. My opinion the best player in the draft and the safest pick. once a decade player.

I don't care about the reasoning, this would piss me off.

Y?? He and Mosley would control the middle of the field like having 2 extra strong safety's. Making the secondary better and allow for exotic blitzing

I'm just not as high on Foster as everyone else I guess. Don't get me wrong, I think he could be a great player, but I also don't think it's worth it to take another ILB in the 1st round when we already have Mosley, it's just not that big of a need to warrant that.

The Ravens will trade up in round 3 to grab a player that they really like.

Carlos Watkins will turn out to be one of the top three defensive tackles in this draft.

The Ravens will draft a WR in the first round.

Once a decade? Kuechley, Mosley. The latter may not be at the same level as Foster could be, but I fail to see how he's some rare prospect.

Jarrad Davis will be better than Foster.

Said the same thing on the first page. He's easily the best coverage LB already, if he didn't have a serious injury history he'd be in the conversation of first LB taken. I'm not all that high on Foster, he'll set a physical tone, but I don't think he's got the instincts of past LBs taken in the top 10. To me he's not a top 10, maybe even top 15, guy in this class. If we want a Bama LB wait until next year for Rashaan Evans.

Not to mention Myles Jack and Jaylon Smith who were both top 5 caliber LBs before they got injured

Yeah if Davis didn't have the injuries that are honestly a huge concern, he could very well go in the top 10-15. He's got dang good coverage skills, amazing instincts, he's super athletic, and he just loves to hit people lol. Of course he's got some things that need to be worked on but I don't see any huge flaws that can't be fixed. I think Fosters size could end up being a problem for him, especially if he's gotta go up against big guys like Gronk and Jimmy Graham.
