Main thing Ozzie & crew NEEDS to think about... who's the next best/similar guy if Davis is snagged before we pick.

They do that w/ every draft. If they're guy is picked, they go w/ BPA for a position of need.

Next best player at a position is what causes problems drafting. Often next best player is difference between pro bowler and a very mediocre player. I really like JuJu and Stewart. But can we honestly say those receivers are one notch below Corey Davis. Corey has the makeup of a true No 1 receiver that has eluded the ravens.

Do you think that they haven't thought about that yet?

Mike Williams... Corey Davis; Corey Davis... Mike Williams. Doesn't matter. Either of these guys would be a 1 one receiver. Take the one that was not drafted yet with our pick.

It kinda does matter. Corey Davis is a SUBSTANTIALLY better WR. Williams isn't gonna be successful. The dudes a DGB slower clone minus the off the field issues. Can't run routes.

Yea... Mike Evans has really struggled in the NFL too.

Dez and Julio really struggled coming into the NFL as well, not being good route runners....

I'll take a small school kid. He will be more humble and will come in with a chip on his shoulders whereas Mike Williams might come in and act like he's a National Champ and from one of the best football schools in the country. Frankly, Clemson players are kinda risky picks too, but I hope I'm wrong if we draft him

This guy is a beast. You cannot deny.

I was telling my buddies all year long to watch this cat play, he's like a man amongst boys on the field. I like Davis a lot.

not really you need to take the level of competition Corey Davis plays in and the fact that we don't know his workout measurable. I would rather have Mike Williams over Corey just because I feel like I know what I'm getting for my pick. Corey's film is great but that ankle injury gives the edge to Mike

Seems t me we previously had a high draft pick of the name Mike Williams who turned out to  be a bust.  Is that an omen?  I aoso think that instead of a speed merchant we need to get s tough guy that will make all the tough catches like Q, Smitty, and others.  Q came to us as a solid #2 behind Larry Fitzgrald.  I believe we can get such a guy in Round 2.

Sounds like good WRs but these 6ft WRs are kinda not working I mean Antonio Brown isn't 6ft and he is a beast but he has Big Ben and better ball location when he catches his passes! Our WRs have to fight for the ball can't catch it in stride gotta turn around backwards on deep balls or the routes do not create separation! We should just get a good possession WR like Campy that can stay healthy though under 6ft! I'm just sayin even the pats WRs aren't that big and fast but they get it done!

I like Corey Davis at 16 if he is there, big if.
So lets just say he is then I see The Ravens possibly going...
16- Corey Davis WR
47- Carl Lawson OLB (Option -Cam Robinson OL)
74- Pat Elflein C ( Option -Chris Wormley EDGE)
78- Teez Tabor CB ( Desmond King CB)

Do you know about the other Clemson WRs? Pittsburd has a stud in Bryant, so does Buffalo with Sammy. If you want to under stand the player by hwre he came from and the others who have succeeded, you don't have to look far. i mean, are you guys watching the video posted? Or just running your mouths?

You actually have to play on the field to be a "stud".

I love all these players. All of em. But I sincerely think each one will be drafted well ahead of where you have them slotted unfortunately.
Zero chance Tabor makes it out of the 2nd round. I wouldn't be surprised nor would I think it would be foolish for someone to take him in the first as well. He'll compete with Marshon for the best corner in this class when it's all said and done.
Davis could drop to us, which would be amazing. But I could also see him going as early as 5 to the Titans.
I'm starting to think of a new ideal draft approach, which I'm gonna post.
But if we pick at 16, I hope it's Davis, Williams, Foster, or Barnett.
I wouldn't be mad about Ross or Takk either

Haven't written about it much or predicted much but McCafferey and Forrest Lamp could be serious first round targets for us if Barnett, Davis, Williams, and Foster are gone.
McCafferey could help the team in so many ways. And Lamp is the best lineman in the draft by a bit, not to mention he can play all 5 positions.
If those top 4 are gone, I would love to trade back 5-8 spots and grab Lamp as well as an extra pick.
Then we're back to having 2 pro bowl guards. Ronnie the man at LT. We should sign Mangold. Then Lewis looks a lot more like a Tackle than a Guard. Boom, not only is the line fixed after 1 pick, but it's one of the top lines all of the sudden.
Then we would still have FOUR more picks in the top 80- with that extra pick from the trade back.
-Grab Lawson to put opposite Suggs, and groom him to replace Sizzle.
-Grab Ju Ju. EXACTLY what we need now and for the future- more explosive version of Q
- Grab Chidobe Awuzie- a top 3 corner in the draft imo, but he's underated. He can do everything
Grab BPA with the last 3rd round pick.
And we still have KC and P.O. to play ILB
Plus more picks
Not only are all the "holes" filled, but they are filled in the most beautiful way. Not one of the holes filled this offseason is a 1 year thing either.
We might draft a Center, but I have a feeling Mangold will be very motivated going to a good team for the first time, and I think he has 2 solid years left.
I have a feeling Carr is going to prove himself on our defense and I think he'll be with us for 2 years.
Weddle has a solid 2 years left, get over the age people.
Sizzle might be the only one leaving after this year. Which is huge, obviously.
We can really get back to being in the playoffs every year, and hoping for at least the AFC championship game each year, if we take care of business and handle this draft. Best draft I've ever seen. The Timmy trade was a thing of beauty. We'll see what follows

Lamp, Awuzie, Ju Ju, and Lawson are all ready to play and contribute right away. And they can all be cornerstones for us moving forward, all at very different, and crucial positions. To ensure getting all 3 guys after Lamp, that last third might need to be used to move up. Or it could be used on a Center if we don't sign Mangold.
Samaje Perine looks interesting to me as well.
I also really hope we give up a future pick or two to get another 2nd or 3rd rounder this year. We need as many picks as possible between 20-80 this year. Out of those 60 players between those slots, I sincerely believe about 40-45 would be first rounders in most drafts, or average drafts. The talent that's gonna be coming off the board in the 2nd round is going to be nuts. The second round this year will be better than most first round classes. Get to work FO

I don't mind either. just don't reach for Ross of theyr both gone. We should land a top 10 talent regarless of the position.

as much as we need a cb or pass rusher it would not hurt my feelings if we drafted williams or davis and if by some small miracle rb d'onta foreman falls to the 4th it would be great if we drafted him. he reminds me of jamal lewis with more speed

Ravens picking wide recievers is like Browns picking QB's in the first round. Just stop.

Megatron and Gronk did not help their teams so why this love feast with these big slow recievers? Go defense. Thats Ravens bread and butter.

I think fans still hope Joe is going to start throwing like a top ten QB besides there stilla a lot of holes in the offensive line.
