I'm pretty sure the ravens will bring Jim back next year. His play this year has been awesome

Love me some JL.

I met him last week at Max's in Fell's Point. Called him "The White Ed Reed". Not sure if he was offended or not, either way, great guy who even let me take a picture with him.

Oh yeah, one hell of a player too.

Next year (assuming we dump CMac, which looks like the best course of action):

If we don't draft a cornerback, our secondary:

LCB: Fabian Washington
RCB: Samari Rolle
Nickel: Jim Leonhard
Dime: Evan Oglesby/Corey Ivy
FS: Ed Reed
SS: Dawan Landry

If we DO draft a corner (i.e., DJ Moore, Lindley, Vontae):

LCB: Fabian Washington
RCB: Moore/Lindley/Davis
Nickel: Jim Leonhard/Samari Rolle (alternate them)
Dime: Samari Rolle/Jim Leonhard
FS: Ed Reed
SS: Dawan Landry

OR, if management wants to get rid of Samari (I will be very very VERY sad)...

LCB: Fabian Washington
RCB: Moore/Lindley/Davis
Nickel: Jim Leonhard
Dime: Evan Oglesby
FS: Ed Reed
SS: Dawan Landry

I love the optimism Samari but we wont keep Leonhard and Landry. Reed, Zibby, and Haruki are here to stay. We probably only going to keep 1 guy out of Landry, Leonhard, and Stone. We know Stone is out, the idiot. So, we've got our choice of Landry or Leonhard. Landry would be easier to keep because he's an RFA.
and also who says we are letting CMAC go? I dont know why everyone seems to think he is bad. He is easily in the top 5 corners in the nfl.

Yeah, when he's actually playing. He is too injury prone, and releasing him opens up cap room. Does anyone else know that since the collective bargaining agreement wasn't renewed, we wont be able to dominate anymore? Teams like Dallas can afford all the best players, and doing that takes the aspect of football away.

That was 2006 C-Mac. The C-Mac we are talking about has missed at least 8 games each of the last two seasons. Who's to say he's the same guy? Can he stay healthy. He isn't in his twenties anymore. He will be 32 come the start of next season.

See Redskins and Cowboys. Case in point.

Buying a team doesn't work.

Yeah, look at the Ravens the first couple years they were here and the Texans, too.
Yeah Cmac is Not a shutdown corner anymore. Those days are over. He's to cocky for how he plays.
err what? he isnt even cocky. That was probably a rumor stirred up by that illiterate writer for the sun mike preston. Harbaugh said earlier this year that Mac wasnt benched for anything like being cocky or not part of the team. Mac had a knee injury for the past 2 years. and when you sayhe is injury prone it was just one injury which prior to that he never had any problems. He didnt want to get surgery after the 5-11 season but come this 11-5 season it turned out he needed it. So this offseason if we will get surgery if he hasnt already and he will back to 100%. And if youll remember earlier this season he was a shutdown corner. With a repaired knee I would expect him to be even better

We'll just have to wait and see what happens. There's going to be a TON of stuff going on in the off season.

C-mac did not buy into the Harb's plan, is the rumor I've heard all season. Harbs will not air his dirty laundry publicly, but I think that C-mac is gone next season.

Been hearing that C-Mac is going to be gone, too. Was told that's why I shouldn't get his jersey, so I got a McGahee one and now it looks like he's going to be gone after that injury last night.

Ive been hearing this about him all year but its just been coming form no where. who is saying this. I think it is just the baltimore media stirring it up. Has anyone credible reported that he hasnt bought into the system? like chris mortenson or adam schefter? someone not on the baltimore sun writing staff?
