[News] 2017 Draft Profile: WR Mike Williams

7 posts in this topic

Either a pass rushing play maker or a WR in the same mold. Williams seems to fit right in but so do a couple of other WR's.

Assuming the big names go my two picks if the Ravens stay at #16 are Derek Barnett (Edge) and Williams (WR). I'd take Barnett over Williams if both are there mainly because there are better WRs in the 2nd round over edge rushers. If both are off the board and we stay at #16 go Dalvin Cook (RB) or Corey Davis (WR). Ideally if Barnett and Williams are gone it makes sense to trade back are far as the low 20's. There are good options at o-line, CB, LB and Edge worthy of a pick in the 20's. With the extra 3rd the Ravens may be able and willing to move up 2 to 4 slots to get Barnett or Williams or if somehow a Lattimore or Solomon drop into the teens (not likely). Despite not having a ton of picks the Ravens are sitting in a good spot at #16

Williams looks good, but Frankly I might rather have Ju Ju. Not to mention Ju Ju is going about a full round later for some reason.
Going Barnett then Ju Ju still looks ideal to me

He looks intriguing. It's just a lot harder for me to be confident about him translating to the NFL, because of the level of competition he played against. That's not to say he won't be awesome, but the evaluating process is harder imo. He looks like a similar player to Ju Ju. I think Ju Ju might be a tiny bit more explosive on the field. From character, to drive, to play on the field, I love every part of Ju Ju's game. On and off the field. I'm not as educated on Zay. It also sounds like Zay is moving up boards and possibly sneaking into the late 1rst. I've gotta check him out a little more. I just really don't understand why Ju Ju is being talked about as the 5th or 6th wr in this class. It's crazy to me. To me he looks like a more athletic and explosive version of Q. Exactly what we need. Zay or Ju Ju would pair super nicely with Breshad

I would like to see a DE (Barnett) or WRs (Corey Davis or Mike Williams) as the # 16 Pick. Which is preferable ? Taco Charlton , Jabrill Peppers and Haason Reddick would make our Defense better, as well !
Hard to say about those 2 WRs because both could be game changing Offensive talents . Davis is the 'better' Upside . John Ross is a talent .
Also, it is quite possible that both Davis and Williams are gone within the first 10 - 12 Picks.
There are also some other WRs that can be had in the 2nd Round .
Smith-Schuster and many more who are good WRs. Then you have some dynamite Playmakers like Samuel (Ohio St.) and Adoree Jackson (USC) so there are really good Players to be chosen, in the first 3 or 4 Rounds..
