If we draft Mike Williams/Corey Davis and could sign Boldin on top of that, we could have a decent receiving core with Mike Williams/Corey Davis, Boldin, Mike Wallace, and Perriman. But for all of that, l wouldn't mind drafting Derek Barnett if they want to go a pass rusher route. Lot's of ways it could go out. 👍

If we use a first round pick on one of those guys, I highly doubt we would be interested in signing Boldin afterwards. Doesn't make much sense.

Yep..... I really don't see us going WR in round 1. I believe that we are looking OT or OLB.... Ramczyk , Cam Robinson, Hasson Reddick, Takkarist McKinley...etc.

I would be shocked if we went WR or RB in round 1. Not unhappy just shocked.

I say not unhappy bc if we do go WR / RB that means we have signed one of 5 players
Mike WIlliams
John Ross
Corey Davis
Leonard Fournette
Dalvin Cook

and all are very talented play makers who can come in and make an impact in this offense now! So I would be unhappy

I would be surprised however- surprised bc of how it would force our hand in rounds 2-5 and move us away from our mantra of best available player. We would have to begin to approach those rounds differently in order to fill holes.

With that being said... I see us going OT / OLB in round 1
(Unless Ozzie has something up his sleeve and I do believe that he is likely to trade back and acquire more picks in this stacked draft class!)

I dont think it would be shocking at all to get a wr in the 1st round. Perriman, who still needs to prove himself, is our only WR who is under 30 and had more than 7 catches last year. This may be Wallace's last year here, and there is no guarantee we will be able to sign Boldin, so we need a WR for this year and the future.

I would love to have Webb back. He has always been one of my favorite Ravens. I just love his personality, attitude, and drive. IMHO, he is one class act!

I think Webb has a really good personality and seems to be a "jell guy" in the locker room.....that being said I wouldn't re-sign him until after the draft for around the veteran minimum if at all. This team has been counting on aging vets for a while they need to groom other younger players especially in secondary. This draft has some very serious DB talent that can play for years and produce.

He would be signed as depth obviously. I seriously doubt he would be brought back to take the spot of a young player.

Anquan is a proud man who signed and honored his contract. The Ravens reneged and tried to low-ball him on the deal. How honorable is that? Plus he is a Type-A personality with a strong memory. Boldin doesn't need the Ravens, its vice-versa!

About as honorable as a player threatening to hold out until they get a new contract.

Welcome to the NFL.

You have no clue about what the contract talks between Boldin & the Ravens were. Only your opinion and perception.

And I guess that strong memory forgot about the team that gave him his only Super Bowl ring. So, be greedy, take the money and cry & sulk on the sidelines because your 49er team sucks (How honorable is that?).

Webb and Boldin are Ravens, I think if the deal is right they both come back. They both would load the roster with veteran talent, leadership and sportsmanship playing like Ravens.
I don't think either one of them affect the draft at all for the Ravens. CB and WR are positions that I expect the Ravens to draft within the top 5 picks. At the rate they are going they could pick more than one of either position before its over.

On the note about Boldin, I think he could help Waller and Perriman. Both in different ways. Waller in learning the Slot receiver position from one of the best. Perriman from a receiver who has been through a lot in his career as a WR, he is a true expert type of receiver who shows toughness, unselfishness and works for yards after the catch. I should add Moore to the discussion as well.

I thought all the talk was for the Ravens to get younger and faster? Those two trains have left the station.

Yeah, maybe. Just thinking that it could add another weapon. 4 decent receivers could have Joe plenty of targets.

That would be great if the Ravens had an offensive line and had some depth to go with that.

Boldin last season 67 receptions, 8 TD's. Great Red Zone presence and blocker. If we can get him at the same money the Lions got him for last season I'll take the "Q" Train any day. Can never have enough WINNERS on your Team.

Why even consider bringing back Webb? He's old and slow. What young player do you not develop to give Webb snaps? Makes zero sense. Draft a Wr in the first round and then keep bring in vets to start ahead of him. No wonder Wr never develop under Ravens.

I really love the Webb resigning. He is a Raven and knows Pees' defense inside and out. In a pinch can be a very effective safety or nickel without much drop off, especially if he's fresh! I really think it's a win win and Webb can now retire a Raven and claim his 21 ASAP!

Which young player on the roster do we have to develop?

Here's a radical concept... if Webb is old and slow, then any young player who's actually worth a damn would simply play better than him in the preseason/training camp. Should be pretty easy to do if you're good right?

Not like we're going to be signing Webb to some 6 year contract. He may not even make the final roster.

What are we at the point where we're just supposed to hand a bunch of young guys some playing time (for doing nothing) and pray that they play well? And naturally I'm sure the fanbase will be so accepting of that decision when they don't play well.

Spoken like a true ignorant fan. Always great to call for all of the risks when you take responsibility for none of it.

Bringing back Webb makes perfect sense. He won't cost much, he's the ultimate team player, he'll add depth to an improved secondary, and his presence won't affect our draft at all. No, he isn't an All-Pro, but his #16 rating is better than most of the Ravens' starters.
