[News] 'High Probability' Ravens Add Another Free Agent Before Draft

I think the Ravens should've sign Zach Brown as to only had a one year-4.65M deal with the Skins but l guess that they really have faith in Correa. Hopefully, Mangold is healthy so we could maybe sign him.

Ryan Mink - do you know whether the FO has vetted King Dunlap based on his Domestic Violence background? And has he been cleared or ruled out of consideration based on the team's policy on bringing in players with that background? To me, he's the obvious player to bring in at a position of need.

I'm calling it now. The Seahawks are in the market to trade Sherman and we're looking to trade for someone. Don't be shocked if we trade for Sherman to make our secondary absolutely devastating in the next few days. Remember I called it first.

I thought they squashed the Sherman trade talks.

we are not trading for sherman for several reasons: expensive, older, we dont have cap space for it, ozzie loves his picks, we need passrushers now,

The only other absolute possibility if it isn't Sherman, it has to be Mangold. He doesn't count against the comp pick formula as he was cut. So it could be Mangold becoming a Raven sooner that we know. Man that would be nice!

Who did? The Ravens front office? If true, I wasn't aware of it. At least the Seahawks haven't...

I just saw this on NFL network. I don't know if Carrol squashed it earlier than the GM but here is the link

Thanks...I didn't see this article.

Even if we had the space, he's too much of a headache.

Next.

I think Stevie B has made it pretty clear in several interviews. A player with DV issues will never be a Raven.

Remember that Sherman is owed about $23M over the next 2 Seasons. I think that it is a ploy by the Seahawks FO to reel him in a bit. Some one will have to either shell out some serious $$$s or get Sherman to renegotiate .The Seahawks would want some high Picks for him.
We couldn't afford that and there are some decent DBs available in this Draft . Never say never......but Sherman coming here is very unlikely.
I could see N.E. trying to get him for Darius Butler , in aTrade.

I have a feeling a lot of us will see the signing when we wake up. Well, at least those of us on the west coast lol
I think it'd be a great signing. I bet he has a year or two left in him. Especially after getting on an awesome team for the first time in his intense career.
It would give us SO much more flexibility in the draft

Mangold seems like only real candidate and it would be a sweet signing. I cannot emphasis enough how much versatility it would give us for the draft. I mean, our only imminent remaining needs would be WR and pass rusher.

As for pass rush we actually have some (though largely unproven) youngsters at OLB who could fill in if necessary. So our only true need would be a starter at WR. If only we would have signed one of the vets at the beginning of FA. Then we could really pick best player available for the first time in a really long while.

As for RT I believe plan A is to move Lewis to RT and have Jensen (or Urschel) line up at LG.

Whatever it'll be, I'm really hyped about how our roster is starting to look. Solid depth here and there and for the key players to remain healthy and we should be golden.

Mangold would be a good signing, but he's a short term signing. I still hope they draft an interior lineman this year for depth/future starter at center.

I didn't realize he made the pro bowl 3 of the last 4 years!
We need to sign him today. More versatility in the draft is right.
Then we can go WR then pass rush, or vise versa. Not to mention he 3rd round is going be be full of usual 2nd rounders and even some first. Here are a few names I love and really hope we draft at least one of them
Barnett- 3 down player, can play with Sizzle, then replace him
Ju Ju- A mix of Keenan Allen and Q. Can't miss again on wrs again. Killed me when we passed on Keenan, Landry, and Sterling.
Lawson- looks like a Beast
Corey Davis and Williams- they look awesome and we should rush the card up if they slip to 16, unless Barnett is there
Elfein- Mangold would be a great signing. This is the next best thing
Samaje Perine- if he's there for our second 3rd or the 4th I would think about it
Sidney Jones- My favorite corner before going down. Would love to get him in the third
Ross- Electric. Tracks the deep ball so well
Takk- keeps growing on me. Reminds me of Justin Houston
Chidobe Awuzie- tough versatile corner
Teez Tabor- Great corner. Crazy how much his 40 is gonna drop him. He can easily become the 2nd best corner in the draft, and even rival Marshon
AND we don't need him now, and would never trade up for him, but I think Jamal Adams is the best player in the draft and an instant All Pro
