Over dramatic? Absolutely. Fun to write? Yes. I need a check on myself from time to time. 

 

So yeah. I'm SAM/Mr. Irrelevant and now @LosT_in_TranSlatioN. I didn't really intend on coming back(and I'm not here NEARLY as frequently as I used to be. I mean. 6,000 posts in 3 years when the account had 1000 to begin with), but a few friends on here convinced me to come back. And whenever I reveal my identity to people they say that they didn't know(except for @52520Andrew who figured it out rather effortlessly). I wanted to dedicate myself to being a quality poster over a guy who does it constantly. I hope that I could leave a decent impression on the rest of you over the past few seasons. I may not be the most knowledgeable guy about football, but I feel as if the past three years my knowledge has grown considerably. And it's been because of these forums. So many people here have taught me so much, and I'm grateful. 

So what's new with me? I currently attend the University of Colorado at Boulder. I have a 3.5 GPA and am about to pull of a 4.0 for the semester. Double Major in Economics and Political Science with a minor in business. I honestly love it. I still talk a lot, but mostly to professors and my core group of friends. To be honest, off the forums, I'm a very quiet person unless someone is in my inner circle. I keep to myself, don't have a lot of friends, not a social butterfly. I love my ravens, but off the forums I have 10 friends that I actually talk to. 5 in which are in my inner circle. None of them are Ravens fans. So I'm grateful that I had a community that welcomed me with open arms even if I talked WAY too much and was a PITA during my tenure as @SecretAgentMan. I'm gonna miss this place but all good things will come to an end.

 

So shout outs. 

You people made my forum experience here AWESOME. I hold all of you in very high regard even if we don't always get along. I value your opinions greatly on several matters. You guys are Kickbutt people. Don't forget it!

 

S/o to @The Raven. The residential oline guru who along with @-Truth- has taught me so much about oline schemes at whatnot. I'm a more knowledgeable football fan because of people like you. Even if you don't have the highest opinion of me(given my past I honestly don't blame you. God 14 year old me needed friends) know that I hold an incredibly high one of you as a fan. Hope to see you around on whatever new board. 

 

S/o to  @-Truth- and @K-Dog, and @Deflated Football and @RavensFanMania and @ravefan52 for generally being awesome posters overall. I keep in touch with all three of you off the forums and for good reason. Even if we disagree on football issues, all three of you are very respectful of other people's opinions (unless they're totally asinine). Looking forward to several good conversations in the future.

Well May 5th is here, I want to say that I really did have the time of my life on these boards. These boards helped take my mind off of some of the bad things I had going on in my life that I needed to take a break from. As I always said, this website has been very therapeutic. I want to take the time to give a shout out to all the Mods. You all did a wonderful job policing these forums and you all deserve a huge KUDOS! Let's have some good fun today and go out in style!!!!!!!

I'm not going to give shoutouts to people in particular, but thanks to everyone that has included me thus far.  The ones who I've talked to a great deal know who they are, so respect to you guys.  A couple of you already have my contact information, but if anyone else that's been pretty close to me would like to keep in contact, feel free to shoot me a PM.  I've given out my phone number and Facebook (although I don't use it a lot) to a few already so I'm looking forward to keeping those friendships going.

 Guys and Dolls, believe it or not I will really miss y'all so much! I think this is the best website and forum out of all the 31 other NFL teams.  It has never been an imposition on my time and has always been my pleasure to moderate this site for you. I truly enjoyed it.  If we may have been at odds on a violation or two, know it was never personal.  As a former high school teacher, I can assure you my skin is pretty thick, lol.  The passion y'all have for the game and this team have been what has driven this site to be one of the best.  I thank you for that. 

As a fan, I have developed many friendships and acquaintances over the years that have enriched my personal life, my experience as a fan of football and more specifically our Ravens. I thank you for that as well.  After all is said and done when it comes down to the end...it is about memories, football and family. I can honestly say that I have and always will consider y'all part of my family. Wherever you pop a squat after the forums close I wish you the best and thanks for the memories!

@Grapple Raven I am a big ME TV, TV Land, and Antenna TV watcher so I got a kick out of that Andy Griffith skit. I have always liked him. My favorites are the westerns though. I was a huge Gunsmoke fan as a kid. I think I may have gotten into law enforcement because of Marshal Matt Dillion, but I am sure that Sheriff Andy Taylor had a little influence on me as well.
