The speed merchant set a new combine record by running the 40-yard dash in 4.22 seconds and has a knack for scoring touchdowns. But is he physical enough to get past bigger NFL cornerbacks?

This ravens fan is definitely on the John Ross at pick 16 bandwagon which unfortunately means it wont be happening.I would be on the Corey Davis bandwagon but I dont think he'll make it out of the top 10.

Not my favorite pick. But I would be quite excited about his potential. He has feet to work the slot as a dual threat unlike Perriman and Wallace who aren't shifty enough for that early separation. I would prefer Davis because his size but like Ross to. I like many round2 and 4 WRs as well like JuJu Stewart and Westbrook. I don't like zay jones at all. And not that big on cooper. But I could change my opinion on him eventually.

Here's my gut. We select Corey Davis at #16 of the 2017 draft and he's going to ignite our offense right from the get go. With Flacco hopefully recovered from his knee fully and perhaps does take the time to work with his receivers during off season to build a rapport and timing with them, and the addition of Roman to the coaching staff, we should be able to run the ball more effectively as well. So, I think our offense won't look like the ugly step sister of our defense any more.

Corey Davis and Mike Williams will be gone by #16, but I would be OK with taking Ross. Given his size, put him in the slot and he will be terrific. Also be OK with taking McCaffrey for the same reason. Not as fast, but plenty fast enough, great receiver, moves the chains, excellent return man. Ravens need more weapons on O.

I have two issues with taking Ross at 16. First he always seems to be getting injured. The second issue is imo he won't be the bpa at that point.  What Edge or CB is going to be available at that spot.

as far as receivers I think the Ravens big board rating looks like this order-
Corey Davis, Mike Williams, OJ Howard, then John Ross. I cannot see a #4 man on the position list being selected when the likes of top Edge and CB even RB may be there at 16.
Edge- Garrett -THomas- Barnett- Allen- Charlton all have position in the top 20
OL- Ramczyk is worth a look
CB/S- Lattimore, Adams, Hooker, Humphry, Wilson, Peppers, Conley top 20
the long shot- RB- Fournette and lastly Dalvin Cook,
Now I didnt put in the 2 QB's that look to go early, so there could be 2 more wild cards.

I would put Roddddddddwess somewhere at the end of that pack. Someone is going to be there.it could be Ross, Charlton, Conley, Ram and Cook out of those who do you pick?

I think I would take Dalvin Cook, my order is Cook, Ram, Ross, Conley Charlton at that point

I really like Barnett, Humphrey or Williams but I see them as real long shots.

I almost think McCaffrey offers more than Ross in the slot. At the slot position 40 times don't mean much. McCaffrey had the second best 3 cone drill time at the combine at 6.57. Ross didn't even do the drill, not because of injuries but because he didn't think the number would help his draft stock. He ran an unofficial 6.71 at some point. I think McCaffrey is more versatile and is more of a swiss army knife kind of guy.

I would love Taco Charlton but I don't think he will make it past the Saints. I have a feeling we will trade back and add another pick because it is such a deep draft and Ozzie loves having more picks.

Let's not forget Cam Robinson or Forest Lamp.  There are rumors floaring out there because of the connections Ozzie has with Alabama that we are interested in Robinson at RT.  I would prefer Forest Lamp or Ramczyk to Robinson.

I just read that the Ravens have set up a meeting with Mike Williams. Yes!!!!

Iv been saying all offseason that WR is not as much of a need as fans may think. We have a 1K WR and a 1st rounder developing finely. But if Wallace is there at 16 then you close your eyes, thank your stars, and take him with no regrets at all!

im sorry to say this but Ross would be a reach at 16.
