[News] Terrance West Sits Atop Ravens Running Backs Depth Chart For Now

9 posts in this topic

Head Coach John Harbaugh said last year’s leading rusher is the ‘No. 1 guy on the depth chart,’ but added that both he and Kenneth Dixon, once he’s back from suspension, can be ‘workhorses.’ And don’t forget about Danny Woodhead as a pass catcher.

Remember this time last year when Justin Forsett was definitely gonna be our starter? I'm just saying.

we need help on offense we need #1 wr #1 rb , FB and a center alex L will be the starting RT T West is good but he's no #1 and Dixon might be but he can't stay on the field for one reason or another at wr BP MW CM MC we have speed now we need a chain mover and FB will be a a toss up for the TE the center from Ohio would be a steal in the second round fingers crossed

Im surprised if Coach's response fell short of the fact that the Ravens will look at many options for running the ball this coming season. It was the weakest part of the offense. Sure Dixon and West showed some signs of improvement and then some signs of not so much. West is risky, 4 games is a lot to risk on a guy who needed a rookie's help to hold him up in his 3rd year. I see Dixon headed in the right direction but my gut is that the Ravens should pick up a downhill brawler and let him bust his way into the opposition. Then use Woodhead and West to mop things up.

Lets have Oz talk with Tim Hightower's camp and see if he might be a good fit. He has good size, seems to fit well with the Ravens style of play, durable, good price range , age and experience.

I like all our RBs but when a Defense fears the pass it leaves "GAPEING HOLES" for the running game, no matter whom is back there! Teams fear brady and teams fear Big ben and is why both teams running game does very well! I'm jus sayin!
