I can see them trading down and taking peppers and trading up to get robinson .

 

They have this really bad love for cam robinson whos basically a worse version of michael oher. Ozzie and ravens scouts are in love with him and I don't see anything but a penalty machine with average pass blocking skills.

I will be extremely upset if we were to trade up for Robinson, but seeing how we are good at finding Olinemen in the middle and late rounds I'm hoping we won't take him with our first pick lol

Exactly what I said. The only reason he falls out of the top 5 is a huge medical red flag and if that's the case he will fall to last fee picks of the first.

Solomon Thomas, easily.  Hooker and Adams would be the only other 2 there that give me pause, assuming Allen's shoulders are as bad as presumed.  If they aren't, lump him in with the safeties.

I would say thomas too but idk how he fits into our defense. Hes not long enough to play outside and hes too small to be a 3tech in our scheme. 

Other than his UNC game he wasnt that great. He was pretty average vs Washington. I really like him as a person and live his attitude but I just dont like his fit with us

After being so wrong about Aaron Donald not fitting here, I'll never say a supremely talented player doesn't fit.  We play the nickel so much nowadays that there will definitely be a large role for him.  I still believe he'll have a Michael Bennett like impact.

one of Adams, Hooker or Barnett - probably Hooker I think - although Adams is maybe the better player right now

The reason i ask is that im torn.

I'm pulling for Barnett, but after sitting down and really thinking about it -- i couldnt decide if its because i think hes the best prospect that has a possibility of being there, or would i truly take him over mostly anyone else.

Then tried thinking about who id take over him, i.e. if i was sitting at #2... and just couldnt decide.

So im curious to get everyones thoughts... in the event that surprising 1-2 of these guys we think have no shot of being there ends up being. Like Barnett and Hooker are there, or Adams and Barnett... Lattimore, etc...

 

Is there a consensus #2 round these parts?

Hmmm....

Could there be a small school standout WR available at 16 noted for his route running, big play ability, and just being an all around playmaker? 

Ive preferred Williams over Davis; but superstition might be swaying me.

Well I have Garrett, Adams, hooker, Allen, Barnett at the top of my board in that order but obviously Allen might have the shoulder issue

I'd have to go with Adams. He just seems to have that x factor that draws out the best of the people that play with him. Really reminds me of Weddle in that regard.

Still can't believe we didn't make a move for him or obj. They were my 1 and 3 player that year.

The more i think about it the more i think i want Cam Robinson to be our pick. 

First off hes a mauler and would instantly upgrade our running game.

Hed also provide us with bookend tackles if we decide to use him there(unless lewis moves out, we can figure that out in training camp). Flacco needs a clean pocket and a solid running game for him to be at his best.

Next, in case of an emergency(stanley injury) you can put him at LT and not have to worry too much on a major drop off. Without him we might have to put hurst or lewis out there and that never seems to work well. 

And finally we can always address the pass rush or a reciever later on. There is a lot of depth and guys who can contribute to the team later in the draft while there isnt another Cam robinson. Sure theres other options but none of Cams caliber and i truly believe hed be worth it at 16, if not we can always trade back a little and hopefully manage to nab him anyways

I'm going the other way a bit - I was initially kind of excited about picking cam on the interior but I'd be disappointed now - he's still a top 16 player on my board for me but only just - I just think there will be better players available at other positions
