Why not bring him back? The way that trade was handled, not sure if he'd want to come back, however.

I wouldn't mind getting Q back here. I would just wait to sign him after the draft because we might draft one in the first round.

The big question is not would he help us... he certainly would... it's has he forgiven the Ravens for the way they dumped him? Getting rid of him was the Raven's worst move since Model fired Bill Belichek (just before they became the Ravens).

My opinion is that Harbaugh is just trying to sound good for a story here. I'm no insider....but I believe Boldin leaving was part of the house cleaning John did right after the Superbowl. He didn't want Reed, Pollard (only saved 100k in cap space dumping Pollard), and Boldin back due to the rebellion that was started during the 2012 bye week.

Pollard was cut because he sucks...thats why he was cut from Tennessee and why he hasn't played the last 2 seasons....A safety that can't cover has no place in the NFL. Reed was a free agent and wasn't worth anywhere near what the Texans paid him.

Pollard was never brought in for pass coverage...he was always a run stopper.....He led the team in tackles that year and only played in 13 games. Reed most certainly was over paid....but an offer was never really made by the Ravens for him to even consider.

The team hasn't been the same since Q left. That may due to several other factors, but I'd love to see him come back. He and Flacco had a good chemistry.

Agree. Can never have enough proven winners on your team. If he would come here for the same money Detroit got him for last season that would be a big win. A proven Red Zone presence. Toughness and attitude. A very good blocker. BRING BACK "Q" !

Nice job playing to the cameras, Jon. Harbaugh must know Q was a fan favorite and kicking him off the team was both dumb and unpopular. Sometimes press conferences are absolutely pointless and transparent.

We probably don't make it to the Superbowl w/out Pollard's play vs the Pats.  He truly was a "Patriot Killer"

What would you expect him to say? The reporter that asked the question knew the answer before John said anything. He isn't going to say no we don't want him, he is too old.

It may sound like it's criticism, so I hasten to make it clear: it isn't: it's hard to take anything Harbaugh says seriously - because, as a good businessman, he always talks up every player. He always says that this or that player is great and will be huge ion the NFL. He told that he was absolutely sure the following players would go on having a great NFLcareer - right afdter they were cut or traded by him: Sergio Kindle, David Reed, Tandon Doss, Nick Easton, Tom Zbikowski. We all know how well those prophecies panned out...

Really, don't get me wrong: it's absolutely OK that Harbaugh tries to make every player leaving Baltimore a potential superstar. This is nice, and is a win-win thing. But obviously, it's just talking up players that aren't good enough. That's why we shouldn't put too much trust in what he says player-wise... We never know if it's really his hones opinion/plan - or just being nice to the player.

We should've never shipped him away. Q- the definition of a Raven. Carried us to a SB too. Top 5 favorite NFL player of mine of all time. Thanks for the memories. I'll never forget you pointing down at the useless NE dbs after catching your tds, while they were helplessly tugging at your feet. Even on TV you could see you pointing at them, while yelling and laughing at the crowd. That was a magical run. Time for everyone that's a part of the Baltimore Ravens to get ready for another one.....

Yeah, The same goes for post game press conferences. People seem to get angry at Harbaugh when he doesn't admonish Joe (or any other player that didn't play well) after a rough game. Nothing good would come from calling out players in front of the media.
