Well you open with insult to the one guy who did show us something last season. Sure hype isn't worth the ink its printed worth, however Weddle has put the proof in the pudding on the field.

As far as Smith, when he plays he is better than average although staying on the field for the entire season is yet to be seen.

Jefferson and Carr have proven history, agreed there is no reason to plant the trophy case just yet, but cutting some dead wood so that there is a better chance for success was definitely needed.

I personally like Tavon Young, I think get another young skilled CB and a prospective Safety in the draft adding depth and youth. I would say the Ravens will be improved. I don't mind Weddle handling the proclamations, he has earned it.

ps, just one question, if you are the "judge" then why quote useless Cowboy fans?

I agree with some of what you wrote. I'm not gonna take Weddle's word (or anybody's for that matter) that we have a 'special' secondary when we're yet to see them play. I can make the same declaration for any other positions on our team, with the help of some optimistic talk and hopeful proclamations, but it doesn't mean jack till they take the field and show it. Did I write Carr off based on what Cowboy fans say? No. I said I'll judge for myself. If anyone finds my 'show me' approach too egregious, I guess they're free to neg me.
