When I used to play ball I would bet guys (usually incoming freshman) a six pack that they couldn't "fake fall" when we had full padded sessions in training camp. What I mean by that is that I would bet guys that they wouldn't be able to fall straight backwards from a standing position without bracing themselves with their hands. Even with full gear and a helmet its tough. Its really hard to fight the survivalist instinct to support yourself, but people don't realize that until they try it. Needless to say my fridge was full stocked during those weeks.
