I really like Corey Davis, but one wonders if Drafting two WRs in the 1st Round really wins football games? Especially when O-Line was an obvious weakness and we lost our RT and C in free agency.

It its Corey Davis then yes it is worth it. Have you watched him give tutorials to defenders?

Am I the only one scared to death by the prospect of Ozzie selecting a WR in the first round? Think of his other first round WR picks over the years!

I really think we need to bolster our run game, receiver, o-line and edge rusher in our first 3 rounds. The CB class is pretty deep and we can find one that is really good in the 4th and beyond. In any case, he can sit behind Jimmy and Brandon and learn and get ready. I would believe if Barnett is available when we pick, we go for it. If he isn't and one of the top 2 WRs available, we go for them instead. However, if all of them are gone we go for 1 of the top 3 RBs in the first round.

I think so too. If Mike Williams and Corey Davis both gone, I see them taking Barnett. If all three are gone, I could see them trade back a couple spots.

Its very probable that all three of them will be gone.

If they could trade back would they pass on Foster ILB, Cook RB or Peppers S who look probably under #20
or Humphry CB who lines up at #16. In most mock drafts. Even McCaffrey RB or Howard TE might be in the discussion.

On a side note, cam newton is having shoulder surgery. It's sad but hillarious when I thought our training staff messed up Perrimans diagnosis. These fools diagnosed it righ early December but it took them 3 months to do the surgery. what the heck! Why would you do that?!

In the middle rounds a guy like RB Samaje Perrine of Oklahoma would be a great pickup. He can also catch the ball out of the back field.

Good choice considering we only have one legit NFL WR on the roster in Mike Wallace. I could accept Perriman's mediocrity if he was a 4th or 5th round pick. Unacceptable for a #1 pick.

You will be having a different attitude about him after this year, give the kid some credit. He was injured his entire rookie year because our team was to stubborn to do his surgery earlier and when he was finally healthy last year and gaining confidence he showed he could be great WR for us. This year will be his breakout season with over 1000 yards and 10 TDs. He is the reason why we wont be drafting a WR in the 1st or 2nd round and be able to draft other needs instead.

OMG here we go again. Another Wide receiver. Unbelievable. We have NO pass rush but the Ravens so called brain trust is talking about taking another wide receiver in the first round. How many times do you fail before it sinks in? If we don't get a bonafide pass rusher, all the wide receivers in the world will make no difference. Good grief.

Yea, so this seems to be a common misconception as of late. What is "unbelievable" is that a long time user like yourself is making it. Daniel Jeremiah, Bucky Brooks and any other analyst or pundit have absolutely zero connection to the Ravens front office. If a writer says they are getting their information from a source like a players agent, or someone in the Ravens front office, then you can assume that the information is actually coming from the "Ravens Braintrust", but even then that is not always the case. And if you are thinking that you are getting the inside scoop because you are reading the articles on this website I can assure you that, that couldn't be further from the truth. The writers on this site have no role in the decision making process of the Ravens front office. If John Eisenburg (or any other writer on this site, but John is the guy who says the most outlandish things because he is allowed to editorialize) was allowed to make decisions for this team I can assure you we would be in a lot worse shape than we are. In fact very rarely does any writer on this website get the inside scoop. For the most part they quote other writers about the happenings in our front office. I say this is common as of late because there have been multiple analysts and writers (both on this site and in other places) who have talked about both Zach Brown and Nick Mangold being good fits for the Ravens, but there has been absolutely no indication that we have had any contact with either of those guys. But if you were to read some of the comments here you would think its an inevitability.

Well if Foster is available I think they salivate while writing his name and running to the podium with the card.... I truly believe they'll choose him over any other player available. Imagine our ILB corps at that point. Nobody will be better and will resemble Patrick Willis & Co.

I hope Desmond King slips until the second round. If he does I want Ozzie to trade up and get. He is a playmaker at CB and could contribute at safety as well. I like Desmond King since Sidney Jones is hurt.

I'm a big Desmond King fan as well.

My dream draft would go as such: 1RD: Mike Williams 2RD: Fabian Moreau 3RD: Ryan Anderson & if he is still there in the 3rd Sidney Jones granted he's injured he would be a GREAT pick up when he is healthy but then again its just a dream but not too far fetched

not too far fetched at all. That would be interesting. I like that. I also wouldn't mind seeing Corey Davis in place of Williams and Chidobe Awuzie in place of Moreau

It means they thought his injury would heal with rest and rehab. Three months later they realized it wouldn't.

I'm no doctor but I'm pritty sure him playing those last couple of meaningless games didn't help. It probably screwed up his shoulder more and postponed rehab for at least a month. Great way to protect your franchise QB lol

I'd like to change my opinion of him but I would not say from what I saw last season that he showed he will become a great WR for us. We still need WR's.

It's not just the ILB corps if we get Foster, the entire middle of our defense will be full of studs. in goal line situations, an opposing offense would be looking at an elite DT in Brandon Williams, two top shelf linebackers in Mosley and Foster, and two hard hitting safeties in Weddle and Jefferson. That's not even mentioning our depth at the DT position, with Pierce, Jernigan, and a hopefully resurgent Carl Davis.

I'm pulling for you to be right, 1000 yds and 10 TDs is a tall order. I am a UCF alumni, so immediately I am a huge Perriman fan and I will be as long as he is here. But this WR class has some guys in the first 2 rounds that would be great additions for us. I wouldn't want us to pick up John Ross round 1, but I'd love to get Williams or Davis. If we go after a guy in round 2 I say it's Zay Jones or bust.

For some reason I don't see Williams, Davis or Ross being there when we draft. There is a lot of teams lacking WR talent drafting before us and those guys are game changers that will help out any Offense. Don't get me wrong I would love to draft one of them but I think they will be forced to go with a different need, I have a feeling it will be Cam to fill the RT spot.

Talk about Adrian Peterson coming to the Ravens needs to be prefaced by the fact that we all need to remember what Peterson said after a 2013 game against the Ravens. He referred to Ravens fans "as the worst fans in all of football". Someone who disrespects Ravens fans has no business in purple and black. Not even to mention that the Ravens have no desire for domestic abusers and beating your children and being legally charged and penalized by the NFL is not a player the Ravens should even spit on.

Calling us the "worst fans in football" is a term of endearment.
