Stay classy Arnie.Be humble . I honestly I could really care less with  what anyone thinks of me on here. I'm me and if I start doing something what others would like then how would I be me. I got respect for every one on this site even for those that disagree with me on certain topics but I always will be me. If anyone has a problem with that then I don't know what to tell you.  Every post I made on this site and others is my honesty nothing made up about it and when I find out i'm wrong on certain topic I always been humble enough to accept that i'm wrong   but it's even ridiculous for me to even explain my case because at end of day this  is the internet. This suppose be a site where Ravens fans come together and discuss topics about our team but there's always some bad apples in bunch that want to bash the person instead of  the actual discussion. I'm not surprised at all with this statement by you  and I never claim I was the smartest Ravens fan or believe that I am but it is what is . Hope you have nice day though.

Just criticise something. It's not all sunshine and rainbows jazz. Your how I picture and physcopath before the finally snap

Not in panic mode with plenty of offseason left. But I am ALWAYS worried about our offense. The real key will be Joe having complete confidence in his knee this year. And hopefully we field the right combination of OL to keep him upright. We'll go as far as Joe takes us....which could be to the top with a vicious defense and smart QB play.

How good are Mixon and Ross going to be, it's so infuriating that that team always gets offensive playmakers when they have down years. I wish some other team sacrificed their fake morals before the Bengals did so the guy wasn't in our division.

Why? Its never worked.

Sure they had a nice stretch where they made the playoffs... but is that your goal? You want to be a team that makes the playoffs for a couple years and self implodes every time they do, followed by stretches of being terrible???

Setting the bar low.

Why do we look on in envy of franchises that have proven their decision making doesnt work, doesnt put them over the top, and at best is incredibly volatile in its results.... while knocking or wanting to move away from a formula that has produced 2 SB's in a 12 year span (1 of a very short list of clubs to do so) and produces teams that consistently compete for playoffs and win when they get there?

It's like you dont pay attention when the talented but troubled players they take chances on get suspensions, go off the reservation in huge moments, and get personal fouls in the biggest games that cost wins..... If it happens once its a fluke. But when it is consistently the reason they lose and can never win a playoff game, thats a trend. And one you dont want to emulate if you have any common sense.

big letta little letta gotta giv you one thang u are relieable. what you say to the bd is always gonna be consistant. its alwys been wrong and always will be but its as same today as it was in 2013 whan you praysed cleats elam as our saver. lawded his smarts in negoshiatin his own contrac and how good he was gonna be. no one posta on the bd has bean more consistant than you in what you sayed or as consistant wrong in what u predacted.  you have one da prise.  what ur evan betta at is hipocrasie. you nevah seam to undastan when you are takin a positshon that total contradichts the facts and situashon. its like you come up wiff this this premiss or prinzipool u asume to be true without the least screwtiny into weather it is tru or not. the test is not impourtant to u. what u go with is your premiss.  u jus take it an go with it preachin the hole time like u an authority an its why any one with any smarts wont visit ur bran of board and censurrin.  u got a lot of dictator in u and an equil amount of fact ignorin.  of all the postas uve contribed a bunch of faith base gobbelty guck an added littel to nuthin to discusshon.

anyways befor I get into how terrible we have draffed as compaired to the bengels lets be clear about prinzipal in the salary cap ara. whan a gm pics talant he canna be worried weather carachter will put an end to his playas carrear. playas r not indentures for life any longa. they sign for 4 yrs and most will not be payed afta that. if u can get a top playa in the draff for 3 or 4 yrs as ouravens fan has said you take him and what trainspires is in the big ravens hands. u r not talkin bout a long carrear.  it is betta to get the 3 or 4 yrs of talant than to shop for carachter and get a humpf who is nuthin more than a cleats elam in tha waitin. stop the high hoss big letta weve had nuff of it.

now in r entire histry we have won the divishon 4 times. the bengels in 12 yrs have won it 4 times and been in the playofs 3 times since our champs yr. so whan you say they are failin in the last 4 yrs who is failin more? that's a ratoracle queshion big letta and u canna answear it objectively. between ross, mixon and humpf we shuld not have draffed hump and we had a shot at mixon in round two but went wiff anuther lineback.

now regardin ur prinzipal we turnd a blind eye to ray rices offense and were all good to look that otha way until it went natshonal and that's why ouraven says ur prinzipals are arbitrary. I thang I spelt that one right no red underline!  so who gets a second chanze in a short nfl carrear? of all people u the lass one shuld be takin a stand on whar the ravens are in that regarding.

You can draft a guy in round 1 and he sucks while you draft a guy in round 6 that becomes 1 of the best players in the game.

The draft is a lottery.

Sira can be a guy who can be as bust like gino , or he can be decend like lewis was last season  or become a stud like wagner or heck maybe he is even the next yanda.

Only way to find that out is to have confidence in the guy and let him proof you right or wrong.

Who says that if we drafted a guy higher that he would be better?
Who says if we bring in dunlap or mangold that they have enough left to be an upgrade?
Who says if we trade for thomas that he wont injure himself before TC?

You cant predict the future so rather then burning these young fellas to the ground before even a freaking week has past , how about you put some confidence in the fella and see how he does in TC.

If he is good then no issues.
If he sucks and there is no back up plan then shame on the FO.

If Flacco gets good protection and his footwork still sucks then i will criticize him.
If he is under pressure all the time then i will give him a pass.

If the o-line is 2013 bad then he gets a pass.
if the o-line is like 2014 i expect him to show proper footwork in the pocket.

in others words as an example i will evaluate the protection of the o-line first and then based on that i will look at the footwork of the QB when attempting to make a pass.

but on 1 thing i will evaluate the other.

at no point have i said that i will look at flacco footwork only and ignore everything else.

so drop the zeroing with purpose to criticize BS please

let me even be more specific.

if flacco drops back to pass 10  times and:
he is under pressure lets say half of the time or more , im not going to bash the fella for his footwork.
but if he is under pressure only about 3 times or less , i will expect him to show good footwork the times he has no pressure.

PS there seems to be quite a few people that have confidence in Sira when reading his welcome thread.

Well duh but there is a reason people expect more out of first rounders. They are taken first for a reason.

And if we trade for someone cool but why bring that up if you are confident in the young guys? You aren't.

Confidence in a 4th rounder playing a new position as a rookie? I'd say that is a huge risk. I mean you are really reaching at this point. I mean all that text and that is the best you got? You are just playing this card so you can bash on Flacco when things don't go ho hum.

I'd love to see these guys succeed but I don't expect every 4th rounder to start immediately. It is called objectivism. Just like you don't expect Pees to do well when everyone is injured right? Funny how then those guys all end up being bums when it suits you but on offense in the offseason these guys are gonna be studs haha.

Also Wilson with that duct tape O-line wasn't even pressured half the time last year(38%)? Did you see that Seattle O-line last year? It makes 2013 look good and I do not say that lightly. So it would take a pressure rate worse than that for you to go easier on Flacco? Welp, my work here is done.

good thing there are not the only one rushing the passer on any given play?

not sure how credible profootballfocus is but according to them kessler when he played was pressured almost 50 % of the time.

it was also just an example though.

Dude was most pressured QB in the NFL and it wasn't even 50% of the time

Judging by the welcome Sira thread im not the only person who has confidence in the fella.
I also have him start as a guard which is the position he played, have not endorsed him playing another position at all so i have no fking idea where you get this BS from and what it has to do with what i said.
You are the one reaching by using what other people say against me.

Also you do know Lewis was a 4th round pick right?
Drafted as an OT who played G and will probably play OT this season.
Did a pretty good job last season.

Wagner was good when he got the start as a 5th round rookie at RT and never looked back.

I dont expect flacco to do good either if we have injuries on the o-line which i already have said numerous times now.
So im giving him the exact same treatment i gave Pees.
That i would say i pretty objective.

Also like i said i was praying from Young to start over wright sooner then later.
So its pretty much inline with having Sira start as well , just Lewis did and proved it could work out.

Actually as i said the numbers i gave was just an example.
If you really want to go indepth then you should get to work.

if you want me to be specific cause you dont grasp the concept of what an example is then say so.

lets just say that the avg time to throw for a QB was 2.63 seconds.
then there is also a difference between being blitzed and regular pass rush.
also players with good footwork like a rodgers or wilson can move and step up which impact the amount of pressure they face compared to statues like palmer for instance.
then you also have to consider that some QBs have a ridiculous fast release.
someone like brady gets the ball out well below that 2.63 mark which is why he is not getting pressured much, but that does not mean his o-line where all all pro.

Heck you also have to consider the dropback and if its a 3 step , 5 step or 7 step dropback , and if its from under center , pistol or shotgun.

no dude you work has just begone if you want to understand the concept about what i consider as a pressure.

Dont really feel like going indepth because boards are closing tommorow anyways but if you wanna keep going with this nonesense then by all means say so.

I am not the only person who believes Sira can start so i have no idea what makes you think that this is something radical or whatever.

fur us resantly it has bean a lottery. but it aint for many otha teams. the bengels have outdraffed us by far in resant yrs.  ur sayin draffin is like skyscraper demolition. they pay these demolition companies huge money to be sure that when the 25 story building comes down it comes straight down. but when 9/11 happened how did those huge 100 story buildins come down?  they came straight down. no conspiraci suggested here.  if its a lottery why not get rid of ur draff pickers and just play the numbas urself. Why pay all that money to draff pickers that nevah know if thar 1st rd guy is the man or thar 6th rd guy is gonna pan out? see? why pay the money to the demolitions if that buildin is gonna behave a certain way anyways?

but the truth is thar are lots of variables to pickin a good draff. u'd think ur pickers had an eye for nfl talent, but the truth is at least in Baltimore they really have been closa to lottery playas. one of their strategeries is to hoard as many lower rnd pics as possable hopin one of em might pan out.  its a good strategerie if you can't pic a playa. its a bad strategerie if ur tryin to rebuilt a agein team. cuz in that case the draff becomes like a box of chocolates, u nevah know what ur going to get.

add to the complex of the draff is that it can be bad to draff a playa that looks good from a totally stacked team. becuz his flaws get coverad by all that surrundin talant.  one of the biggast skills a GM has to have is the abilaty to look past that coverin talant to see what the targated playa really has.  Add to that the fact that a powerful team that plays weak teams has to be factored. than add to that the overall talant in college with the lax officatin has to be factored in jus how skilt ur targated playa is.  than add to that the requirements of the nfl whar the game and complexity speed up immensely has to be factored to ur targated playas wanderlichs. that's a football iq test.  its not as hard as it sounds, but if ur not considerin those varibals ur gonna miss on ur 1st rnder and maybe hit ur 6th rnder. and that is where we find ourselves.

So - tell me. what has been the peak of the Bengals success in the past decade?

Impressive.

And, yea they drafted better for a small period of time after being a consistent loser and had high draft picks. Since theyve had "success" (making playoffs and losing 1st game every time.... WOW big achievements) their drafting has suffered and theyve found its hard to continue that success when players move on.

We've won a playoff game more recently than they have.

Honestly i dont know what your gibberish is all about... I dont even remember my feelings about Elam at the time bc i didnt study much college tape back then, but yea, chances are i was optimistic. Bc whether i like a pick initially or not i choose to get on board and hope for the best. thats how i "fan" because its actually more fun.

And yes it is smart to "negotiate" your own rookie deal. It is intelligent to do so bc they're slotted. Theres almost nothing to negotiate except offset language and thats pretty standard as well. Whats your point?

lol, who's failed more since our championship?? Dumbest statement ever, because it ignore the fact that WE HAVE A CHAMPIONSHIP. And with only 1 playoff appearance since then.... we have WON A PLAYOFF GAME. Something the Bengals have not and will not do, precisely for the reasons i explained. They have the talent to get there, but not the culture or type of players that thrive under pressure of the brightest lights.

No one turned a blind eye to Ray. He was a model citizen in college and his time here prior to the incident. They chose to believe his side of the story, since well.... a COURT OF LAW didnt charge him. The video just showed that Ray lied about his version of the story. When they saw what really happened he had to go.

btw your spelling thing is old, just give it up. When youre going out of your way to spell things wrong, like players names even (Jimmi Smith) when theyre spelling correctly in posts you read every day... its blatantly obvious. As obvious as your hard on for pft commenter.

And yes, im implementing dictator like rules on the new forum. First is that every post must be proof read for accurate spelling and punctuation. So unfortunately youre out.

Creating series of multiple screen names so you can hide your identity, and not have your post history tied to you... Its easy to point out other peoples misjudgments from 3-4 years ago when you make a new profile every 3-4 months. Makes it harder to criticize your love for Rob Housler a couple years ago and how with just a few pounds of functional muscle he was going to be the most dynamic TE in the NFL!

And how Marqise Lee will be the best slot WR in the NFL. Totally worth a 2nd round pick.

What are you going to do after tomorrow? The amount of time you spend on here, in fantasy, pretending to be someone and something youre not -- pretty sad. Dont get much real life interaction, huh?

Our run game was near last in the league last year  .Overall, offense was 17th.

We need to vastly improve our run game . If we can do that, we are playoff bound next year.

Just weird how your inability to spell just randomly turns on and off. One sentence can spell demolition, complexity, immensely, hoard, requirements, etc...

But then the next cant spell draft or there.

And, show the teams that consistently draft better than the Ravens. Show us the draft hauls.... who they picked and where.
