Good Guy he deserves getting his scrilla. This will definitely help our compensatory pick for next year too.

Patriots just got a whole lot stronger.Guy is a hardworking low maintenence guy. He will be missed here.

Well that sucks. I didn't even know he was a free agent! So the Ravens have lost their two best defensive players from last year, Guy and Orr. Also easy to type their names. By the way, who the heck considers Kaufusi, a "rising sophomore." I guess the only way you can go from the bottom is up.

"Their two best defensive players." No disrespect to either of those guys, but calm down buddy.

Yes. Not sure why this article says hard working "under the radar" player. He was a key part of the defense success in stopping the run during his time here. Good for him to earn himself a contract for his efforts.

guy will get his ring next season

Really? Cmon Man. If we add a legit corner and even a situational pass rusher, our D can take down anyone. Jefferson will be in the box most of the time, so they play different positions, but in essence Tony is replacing Webb. I don't think our fans have any idea yet about what that's going to do for our D yet. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he makes the all pro team playing in the middle of our defense.
Sign Zach Brown
Draft a corner and a pass rusher and our D is more than back

I had no idea who Zach Brown is but l just look up his stats he has 149 tackles, 4 sacks, and 1 int with the Titans in 2016. He also went to the Pro Bowl last year so l think it would be a perfect replacement for Zach Orr. Ozzie should sign him if the price is right. Hopefully they can sign Claiborne, draft Derek Barnett in the first if he's there at 16, if Sidney Jones make it anywhere in the second round trade up to get them. Ozzie needs to be aggressive; if someone slips move up.

brown would be a nice addition but may cost too much for what we have left in cap $$. i also like the idea of moving up to grab jones if he falls in the 2nd.

Not sure he'll meet the criteria (or Ducasse, for that matter).  Ozzie knowingly gave up our comp position by signing T Jeff (makes sense) and Danny Woodhead (not so much).

Surprised no one has kicked the tires on Aiken.  He may be back, if he can get over his frustration over lack of targets last year.

Guy was a nice plug in at DE.  We might find some bargains to shore up our front 7 here in the second round of FA.

ILB - Zach Brown, Gerald Hodges, D'Qwell Jackson, and Mike Minter all compare favorably to the "top guy" Donta Hightower, and should be far cheaper to acquire (maybe Hoodie sees the same thing, which is why he hasn't re-signed his own guy yet).  Of the bunch, I like Hodges the best as he can actually cover guys coming out of the backfield and rush the passer.

DL - Tyson Alualu, Leger Douzable, Bennie Logan, Chris Long, Tony McDaniel, Jared Odrick, and Devin Taylor offer equal or greater productivity to what we lost in Guy.

Edge - Connor Barwin, Armonty Bryant, Dwight Freeney, Jarvis Jones, Paul Kruger (lol), Alex Okafor, Eric Walden (11 sacks!), and Demarcus Ware - Someone from this bunch might be worth kicking the tires on as either a multi-down edge setter or a situational pass-rusher on a short-term deal.

Guy played well and even Bellichick saw it so I'm happy for him! Now it's time to see some of the youngsters! Brent Urban is my Dawg and I want to see more of him and the others! Some people try to blame Pees about some games last season but it's solely the Offense fault for not putting games away! I wanna see the youngsters and we have some good ones so let them play! Defense has carried this team since 1996 now it's the Offense turn! No more scoring 6pts and expecting the Defense to hold the other team to 3pts! Those days are gone STEP UP!

Best of luck to Guy. It's time for Urban and Kafusi to step up.

It's time for Urban and Kaufusi to SHOW UP.
