mock draft 1.0

7 posts in this topic

1.) Corey Davis, think he falls to us now that Philly has alshon, jordan matthews, and torrey. Great hands and route running with nice size. Reminds me of a taller AB with his route running skills. Plays ball in air well and is a competitor

2.) Carl Lawson, I think we throw in our 4th and 5th to trade up and draft him. He would be a top 10 pick had he not got injured. I think he will stay healthy and he has all the talent to be a superstar. Great bend and strength with decent speed. Easily an 8+ sack guy if he stays healthy his rookie year. One of my favorite prospects this year because he can do both stop the run and get to the QB

3.) Jaleel Johnson, Very, very good pass rusher @ his position. If brandon leaves then pierce can be our run clogger with this beast stepping up on passing situations. Very good speed and strength to get to the QB

GONNA STOP HERE

I thought the same thing when I saw what Eagles have done in free agency. The only team that worries me are the Titans and cardinals. I really want Davis

I really want Williams or Davis now. I'd trade the 3rd round comp to secure one of them. The offense desperately needs help

I've been a huge fan of Lawson for awhile and if he fell to the 2nd that'd be worth the injury risk imo. Johnson pick is obviously pointless now

I think we can very well come away with Williams or Davis. Whomever I think the Ravens need to select a WR in either the 1st or 2nd round.

What Ju Ju Smith in second round and get a pass rusher in 1st rd ( Barnett, Taco) or trade back for Tim Williams? Then CB in 3rd round if we sign Clairborne. I really don t want us to spend another 1st rd on a WR. We are a defensive team first. I rather want us to take Cook than a WR. I still have faith on Breshad to be a number 1 WR. Let give him another chance first.

Our run defense is good now. We need to fix our pass defense. That mean pass rusher and CB. If we had a solid pass defense, in 2014 we will have beat the Pats in playoffs and last year we will have beaten the Steelers.

Not to mention this is a weak WR class and good WR's show up about every other year while good pass rushers and corners hardly ever show up in the draft. I'm with you, let's go defense, defense, and defense. I like some of the big bodied possession receivers we can get in the 3rd and 4th. I want early picks to get quality defenders that can start, make pro bowls and differences in games. I want us to find our next Terrell Suggs, I want to find our next Chris Mccalister, I want to find some guys that'll give some star power and youth to our defense. Joe Flacco is better than any other QB we've ever had. I wish he was better, but he's good enough to win a few games on his own. We need a defense that makes it easy and doesn't give up the leads that he gets for us late in games. Honestly our formula to sweeping the AFC north and becoming a power house again is to get a top defense and slightly better than mediocre offense. Possession WR and dflefense is what I think we should do
