We need to get cooks or Fornette

No, we won't get Dalvin Cook and Fournette will already be gone. But now we will over pay to get Woodhead.

Actually, i don't know that we will overpay, but Woodhead's agent now has a bigger smile on his face.

Now it is clear why we signed Woodhead. Yet another disappointment among our young players.

Or maybe we already knew about the situation before it hit the media and that's why we made the move in the first place..

Remember when everybody was wondering why we released Will Hill?

There's a 30 year old, fresh legged running back out there, who is 10 times better than any one the Ravens currently have or will get. However, is now black balled by the newly, squeaky clean Ravens, who clearly, obviously care more about their newly found PC reputation than they do about winning. Check out their pathetic record since he left.

The pressure on these kids to perform to be able to even stay on an NFL roster causes some of them to try and cheat to be better without putting in the work. Once upon a time these young guys came in with outrageous contracts so they didn't care whether they performed, they were set for life but now with the CBA assigned salaries for rookies, they are, only one phone call away from working at McDonalds, and most didn't finish college, they left early for the.........money.

Another small school guy who thought he could continue doing what gave him an edge in college (Nick Boyle).  They clearly have better PED programs at the big schools.  Take Cushing and Clay Matthews, for example.

Thanks, Kenneth. Way to put the team first.
The trend of drafting bad RBs since 2008 continues...
Maybe somebody knows better than I do, but when Ray and Ed led the team, how many youngsters were suspended for PED use? I'm not certain, but I'm pretty sure we didn't have 4 within a 16-month span like we've experienced with Waller, Boyle (x2), and now Dixon. Of course, when Ray Lewis was the face of the franchise, players felt like they were part of something special and were less likely to do something stupid like these guys, because they didn't want to be "that guy" who let down the team. Now, there is no leader on the team and the Ravens aren't even contenders (until they prove otherwise).

The only thing I hate more than a cheater is a dumb one that gets caught! I don't support or respect juicing for various reasons but I do understand why NFL players do it. If your gonna juice, can you go to a damn clinic and have a Dr controll it for you. If your gonna put stuff in your body then put the stuff that evens out to pass a damn blood test!

We cannot catch a break with running backs.

You def got that right! Wev invested two 3rd round picks and a 4th on running backs while our past 3 starters are guys we picked up in FA

i looked over the list of starting RBs taken in the 3rd round and beyond over that span and here's some of them.

Ajayi, Freeman(ATL), David Johnson, Jordan Howard, Dwayne Washington, Lankford, duke Johnson, Mckinon

it kills me that we can't get this right and have to revisit this every offseason instead of investing our limited cap space elsewhere

I don't understand how this keeps happening when you are a professional athlete. Don't the ravens sit these players down and tell them to inform them of every supplement they are going to take to make sure it is approved???

If it was a mistake, then why does he have to rebuild trust? Something smells fishy here.

Yes, the players are supposed to do that.  They are supposed to submit any supplements that they want to take to make sure that they are approved.

Don't you think it's time for the NFL to put out a list of supplements that have banned ingredients in them? Or, produce a list of approved supplements? Or, the player should ask the team doctors to review their list , prior to taking them.

Also, the team should note to the players, that taking something from a person at a gym, might have bad ramifications.

I believe as rookies they are made aware of harmful things, but, guys don't listen because it's a business and they want the edge to stay ahead. As the bald man is always looking for the hair remedies, no matter the health risks.
