Here is a quick preview of what the new board that he and I are creating. Sorry for the bad quality. I couldn't upload the full sized picture, but you get the idea.

Me too. I would also suggest opening up the forums now for signups so people can start signing up instead of everyone at once doing it on Friday.

I think you nailed it, at this point except for the established forums, RSR, Scout or Beatdown it going to be met with some skepticism and it take a lot of work and time.  This place took close to two years and it had the NFL stamp of approval. The only reason other forums are allowed to advertise is because this place is closing.  From what I understand BoldnPurPnBlack has been allowing people it register and be part of the growing pains.  Not a knock on you just advice of someone that been wasting way too much time on forums that we have been told are on the way out.

It's just showing a "coming soon" page for me (for all the good that does) but it does look very professional. I don't post a lot these days but I'll probably register there and see what happens. The main problem new sites often have is the influx of new members (especially when the existing members start to leave when life happens), but that's not an impossible problem or anything.

There was a screenshot of the interface posted earlier. Looks good, obviously modern software.

After reading the replies, I do think that opening the board early is in good interest, for members to sign up. It is important to note that some features will be missing until it is complete on Friday. I believe I will be able to get it "complete" enough to open it to signups in a few hours.

 

I will also be messaging @BOLDnPurPnBlacK about the situation to see what can be done.

I'm already signed up on there, but I'm not giving up like that. If there is anything I can do to help keep this board up for the season then damn it I will try my best. If it doesn't work then it is what it is.

well the mods that we have sometims bumpd hades wiff here do a gameday thread on scout. they are true raven fans and are relative broad minded to diveral opinon. we here hav waged opinon war and tho some of us hav been clearly more wright than othas on like wher da ravens find demselves and which playas hav been overdraffed and shuldna been draffed at all the mods here have general allowd da smartist postas who were wright most often to vocal thar diveral ops.  hostiles have developd in this exchang and those hostiles cant help but carry ovah to a cite run by postas that thang oz and decost can do no wrong and shuld stay, speccy when othas belief oz and decost must go before they sink us certain.  in the intarest of preservin bd diveralisty cites like Scout and Reddit shuld be favrd.
