Tj watt... is he worth 16th overall?

OK , I've now been able to see a whopping three games of tape and here's my take following one caveat ;

 I'd like to see as much tape on him as possible. Three games clearly won't tell everything.

1) shows up and makes plays in each game....does in fact jump off film.

2) fairly evolved edge rusher.....adept at setups....displays inside counters, a very good rip move, long with some jolting power in arms and hands.

3) Pursues with passion.....I see him as having very very high awareness against run and in the passing game. Also very aware in coverage....sees play developing, makes quick read, shows up where he should when dropping and when picking up out of backfield......oh yeah...Reads quarterback and gets hands in throwing lanes three (perhaps four) times in three game films to deflect pass.

4) understands setting the edge but at times is pushed around a little in run game....( see second half vs.Michigan) could add to frame.

What is injury history ?

Very intrigued overall. Based on what I've seen, I would absolutely, no question take him over, Tabor, Ross...some other guys I've seen mocked to us in a quick second.

He definitely gets pushed around in the run game. Stiff in space....

The majority of his sacks come about the same...he beats his guy around the edge. He will have to be able to set that up more on the next level....simply not explosive enough in my eyes for that to be his full time go to.

Well played but I haven't been able to actively watch the NFL for 2 years now, most of my football watching consists of watching college film when I have the free time, which hasn't aligned with NFL games the past 2 years. I may not be fully in the loop with the NFL atm but I've watched Barnett, and your assessment is way off the mark.
