We need more speed and we need more size realistically. Our safeties are in the slower side and so are our corners, outside of young and Jimmy who are average speed guys.

We need length at corner and a faster safety moving forward. You land Jones, Hump, Wilson or Lattimore with Baker or Peppers at safety/ backer and bam. We improve dramatically

I'll be interested when all the measurements come out because most of the top 2 rounds of corners are listed on most sites as 6 or 6'1... lattimore, jones, Wilson, Humphrey, Conley, tabor, Jackson were all listed with similar lengths so I'm intrigued to see if any of those guys are a little taller or shorter than that...

i absolutely don't want peppers though - I think he's a tweener but not in a good way - in the sense that he's a jack of all master of none kind of guy in my eyes - baker i love though, albeit maybe not at 16

in terms of corners though, I don't even think we need that much more speed or athleticism particularly - for me it's more about more warm bodies who can play the fundamentals of the position and not be under 5'11 which is most of the corners in the first two rounds - even if they are, if they play the position well it'll still improve the team

I don't really see an issue with our safeties being slow I think Weddle was a top 3 safety if not the best safety last year and Webb was in the top 15 safeties. I think those one on one match ups on the outside killed the team when Jimmy Smith was out. I think the main thing is to get younger at pass rusher, get another good linebacker next to Mosley, and get a bigger stronger corner to start opposite of Jimmy Smith.

I mean ya I would take a big physical corner on the outside like Humphrey or Wilson. We need another bully at the position to match up well against guys like Green, Thomas, Cooper, Robinson, Hopkins etc.

Yes our safeties played very well overall, especially Weddle. But they're 31 and 32 years old. Speed deficiency was quite evident v the Giants, second Steelers game, jets, patriots and so on. Weddle has great IQ and is a great talent around the LOS, but he's not as fast as we would like when a speedy offensive weapon gets the ball in space

I don't care so much about physicality given the way the NFL is progressing but what I do value more than ever is the ability to find the football and make plays on the ball in the air, especially in man coverage because it gives the defensive coordinator the ability to blitz more etc.

i don't think we need a bully per se, more a confident ball playing back

if they also come with extra size and speed then all the better but I value football iq and handling skills more than those qualities
