i would love to see us take Marcus Williams if he's there in the 2nd round or Obi Melifonwu both guys look to have a flash that could indicate them being playmakers

I would not take Williams or Melinfonwu in the second lol there will be a lot better talent there at pick 48. Trust me. I would only take Adams, Peppers, Hooker or Baker or Desmond King in the first two rounds.

Are you for real? After picking Elam and Brooks, we should not be drafting any more safeties- just bring Ed Reed back - he was better than all the busts picks/ FAs we had at this position... Heck bring back Bernard Pollard if Harbaugh doesn't feel threatened by him

Hooker just had surgery but he is still my pick for safety. A year or two with Weddal he will be great. When you watch Elam highlights they mostly show him tackling but Hooker looks like young Ed Reed flying around.

I agree except I would not touch Peppers. Big time College player and athlete as opposed to an elite NFL player imo. I don't know why people think he can all of the sudden be a safety, and a pro bowl one at that. And he's claiming a sub 4.4 forty time...Julio Jones ran a 4.39 and Peppers doesn't come close to showing the same speed on tape imo. I wouldn't take Peppers in the 2nd, so I Really hope we don't take him in the first. I think that would be an absolute disaster. Especially with the talent in this draft....and the DBs

Hooker looks awesome and would be a sweet pairing with Weddle. That way Weddle can groom a young safety and show him the ropes on and off the field before he goes. I don't think there's any possible chance of Hooker lasting until 16 though. Even with the surgery. Some people have him ranked in the top 3 overall of best prospects in this class
