The Ravens have handed the reins of the team’s fitness to Steve Saunders, who joined Baltimore a year ago. Saunders will now expand his duties to include a high-intensity weightlifting program that focuses on getting on-field results.

Looks like the Raven's FO might be on to a good program... kudos to whoever came up with this idea.

I can't wait for the "Holy ....., did you see those guys"? days again in Baltimore. Kinda missing it actually. Over the past 5-6 yrs we've gotten progressively less imposing. Its time we get back our toughness and defensive mojo. When we step on the field, the other team needs to be intimidated period.

Also, about time we let go of the dinosaurs like our old strength training guy. Its time to do the same with some dinosaurian coaches like Pees and Mohrinweg.

There is a big difference between looking intimidating and just plain out being intimidating and looks don't matter.

The roster has an excess of aging veterans, multiple pressing positional needs and a relatively small amount of salary cap space to devote to free agency. The root of these problems goes back several years.
The problem is Ozzie. He just wants to plug in one or two "OLD GUYS" every year because he knows he can't draft good players any longer. The cap money goes away and we are stuck with a bunch of over paid "OLD" guys who spend most of their time on IR.
Just cut the hell out of this "OLD" and "SLOW" team. Start with "Ozzie", "Harbs" and "old 3 and out Flacco". Ozzie can't draft anymore and Harbs got his SB win and like just doesn't have it any more. Flacco may not be as old as most but he sure plays like he's 50 yrs. or older.

I really like the idea of individualized program for each player that addresses their specific needs.  Plus if he can address the muscle imbalances with each player that should be a great preventative measure, so hopefully we see a reduction in achilles and hamstring injuries.

Chuck you do realize that you do not need to comment on every single article. What in the world does the nonsense spewed in your comment have to do with the article? And what is with the quotes? You are the only one who has ever used the nickname "old 3 and out Flacco" when talking about Joe.
