[News] Eisenberg: Grabbing A First-Round Cornerback Is The Best Route For Baltimore, But ...

We definitely need a CB and S in the draft. OLB and ILB would be safe picks. I don't see us taking a WR in the first round unless someone highly rated miraculously falls to us.

Where you been the last 4-5 years? Ozzie has made arguably one good pick in the first two rounds since 2011. CJ Mosley

Busts: Matt Elam, Courtney Upshaw, Arthur Brown
TBD: Perriman, Jernigan, Correa, Stanley

Some of you guys have to stop drinking that purple Kool aid and accept ozzies recent failures which have let this franchise down.

Lol Ozzie has been slipping lately but Upshaw wasn't a bust. He was a solid edge setter that filled the JJ role. Stanley looks really good and I expect we will get a really good player at 16 this year. Sometimes it comes down to coaching as well to assess how could of a player they're or could have been

The Ravens always make good picks and they will do it again! Ozzie and Co. has the same eye for talent like Bellichick but the only difference is we have Flacco and Bellichick has Brady to make every move he makes look like a genius! No one heard of Julian Edelman now look at him now they got that kid Hogan if the Ravens made moves like that yall would try and run Ozzie and Harbs out of Bmore! In Ozzie and Co. "I TRUST"

Love how guys edit the facts to try and make a point.

I guess you don't think KO is good? And I guess Brandon Williams, Ricky Wagner, Juice & Tavon doesn't fit your "Ozzie can't draft" agenda because they were drafted past the 2nd Round? Justin Tucker & Zach Orr - why would Ozzie ever bring these guys in when nobody else did - he must know that they suck, right?

Just because he drafts a few of busts LIKE EVERY TEAM IN THE LEAGUE doesn't mean he is a failure. Belichick has the worst draft record in the NFL the past few years.... The draft is a crap shoot with most players becoming BUSTS. And you can't judge a draft after 1-2 years. Julian Edelman sucked so bad for his first 4 years that the only team that would sign him in free agency was the Pats on a 1 year vet minimum deal.

ABSOLUTELY the BEST route in this CORNER heavy draft and the 2 BEST fits for the RAVENS are not the top 3,the BEST RAVEN type player's as in can do multiple thing's to UPGRADE the team are ADOREE JACKSON and DES KING,both can play corner, safety, punt returner and both very willing to help out in stopping the run.ADOREE JACKSON a little lighter but more athletic,DESMOND KING a little more apt to be used in the backend of the secondary.there may be corners rated above them, but are not the well rounded players as ADOREE JACKSON and DESMOND KING,both slated to go in the backhalf of the first to the PATRIOT'S and PITTSBURG that both see their value.I would not want either going to PITTSBURG.

if they WASTE a 1ST ROUND pick on a 3 year average player like a RB in a draft where we sorely need a DURABLE ,TOP RATED corner,i'm out of here and going to KC.my other team.

Dude c'mon don't be a homer... Our draft success in recent years has been poor at best and our ability to retain players has been even worse. Max Williams and Carl Davis has been bums, Correa and Kaufasi were not smart picks regardless of bronson's injury. The entire 2015 draft class will be off the team before long, heck only 3 players are on our roster combined from the 2009-2012 drafts and depending on how free agency pans out we may only have 1-2 left from the 2013 draft. This isn't a new issue, our draft success has gone down the toilet

I am the farthest thing from a homer. I am practical, yet still very critical of coaching and the FO.

I agree, FA has been a nightmare for us and retaining players. Our drafts have been lackluster, especially early, using hindsight is always great though, but at the time of these drafts most of these picks looked very promising or a handful did in fact turn out pretty good.

Without sounding like a parrot, 16' looks to be a very good draft but I agree that KC and Bronson were not great fits. But you cannot refute that there were many gems in the draft. Stanley looks impressive, so does young. Dixon and Lewis flashed and they were just rookies. Judon did as well.

This draft is critical and I expect Ozzie to knock it out of the park. We are drafting dead in the middle, unless he takes a raw corner or a unrefined WR in the first, I think he gets us a pro bowler.

We had like 50 draft picks in '16- I'd hope we'd at least get a couple of hits.. We can't draft anymore because Bisciotti wants Oz to only draft boy scouts and team captains

with the needs we have, i highly doubt that ozzie will pick a RB in 1st rnd, it will be tempting to pass on a players like WR williams or Davis, but we need help at OL, Pass rush, CBs positions, more than any other position, the more QBs get picked head of us the better chances we pick a plug n play player.

You never know what Oz will do- remember, even though we need corners, lineman, etc... he'll always take the best player off the board... hopefully, he doesn't have another tight end or safety- we know how those picks worked out- yes, the same way as when he drafts WRs- the end result is not that good

All I'm going to say to Oz is trade up. The stands are empty at M&T because we don't have any passionate, play-making studs on this team. Just like Flacco, the whole team is boring to watch.

Draft a stud, a play-maker, and make us excited again. Since Ray and Ed left, this team has lacked emotion and is void of play-makers. Who is our best play maker? Justin Tucker- yes, a kicker. How sad is that?
