UPDATED: MESSAGE BOARDS CLOSING AFTER DRAFT   03/08/2017

After careful consideration, we have decided that we will sunset our message boards after this year's NFL Draft. Since we opened our boards a decade ago, the digital landscape has greatly evolved. While we understand there remains a smaller group of highly-engaged fans who participate in conversation in our forums, a significant amount of the dialogue about our team and our games has migrated away to other social media platforms over the past several years. Our message boards will remain up and running through Friday, May 5th, and will be removed on May 6th. We recognize that this change may upset avid members of our community. However, we look to utilize our time and resources to focus on how we can best connect with our fans across an array of digital/social outlets. If you are not already engaging us and other members of the Ravens Flock on our Facebook page, Instagram account, through Twitter or Snapchat, we invite you to follow us on those channels and continue to participate in our social communities. In addition, the commenting feature on our website articles will remain intact. Members will be able to continue using their boards account to log in and share their thoughts at the bottom of every news story. We’d like to thank all the Flock members and our moderators who have brought thoughtful conversation to this space and made our community great for the last 10 years. Ravens Social Media Hub »

McCaffery with a 4.49 40. Pretty good for a white boy, that's Torrey Smith speed. Announcers still going to say he is "deceptively fast" though.

I think Smith is quite a bit faster than that...

Yeah Torrey Smith was 4.36. Over a tenth of a second faster.

I apparently have really crappy memory, I swore he ran in the late 40s for some reason.

Tark Cohen runs a 4.42

I think Cohen is going to nail the agility tests.

Ya takks measurables are outstanding. He has the frame and athleticism. That's why I always called him a top 20 pick

I saw somewhere that he drops to us and we take him in the 1st round. I looked at some of his highlights, he looks legit

Tj watt has great measurables. Especially his 11 inch hands. That's ridiculous

I get the feeling that watt ends up the best front seven defender from this class. I'm sure plenty would have been called crazy for suggesting the same of his brother too.

Hes got ridiculous length, plays pretty refined with only a year starting under his belt, plays super strong for someone so long and lanky, good bend, great intensity, solid burst, I just think he's gonna end up a beast but I can't justify taking him at 16

Not a super fast RB class, but a few of these guys play faster than they timed here, including the top 2 Fournette and Cook

I must say, I'm pretty disappointed with cooks 4.5 40.

I still think his tape says enough about his breakaway speed.

I got into an argument with the high school coach of Patrick Peterson just to give you an idea of the mind I was having the discussion with. I told him that some of you are married to the measurements of players instead of what they can actually do on the field. I did not understand why Mathieu dropped as low as he did for the simple reason that when on the field HE CAN PLAY.

This is somewhat how I feel about Peppers. I hope he proves me right, using his measurements against him is stupid in my opinion.

Luckily we have that John-Jim connection then to know for sure I guess.

I doubt he goes first round, but if we took him in the first then it's without question bc of that connection. If I played GM, I honestly think I would be crazy enough to take him there if not trade down and nab him. I really want to see how this plays out

I definitely wouldn't say disappointed because that's still a very solid time, but I figured he'd be a 4.43-7 guy

Well Fournette did show up heavier his playing weight at 240 lbs, so that's not surprising

I highly doubt he ends up being a better play than Garrett. Garrett is what everyone hyped up Clowney to be, with actual production in college.

Lmao. The 40 is the most overrated combine stat by far. Cook plays much faster than that. And Fournette does too. And he did it at 240 pounds.

Just a yearly reminder.

*unless a player does a lot worse or a lot better than projected, like Vontaze Burfict or Chris Johnson

Then don't. There's a decent chance he's there at our 2nd. The only problem I have with him is his core strength isnt very good which is common for taller guys. Other than that he'd be an extremely good player in baltimore. Much better version of Paul Kruger and even Jarret Johnson

I'm sorry, what I meant to say was besides the obvious 3 of Garrett, Allen, and foster. I think he could be the best after those 3 lol

I love when a front seven guy runs a slow 40 and everyone jumps on their case. If your DE is running 40 yards on the field I got bad news for ya..

Ya the 40 isn't as important. I focus more on that 10 yard split for pass rushers

As much as I think Barnett and Riddick are going to be really good, I can get behind this.

The only comparison he has to those two guys is that he is white. I love JJ knock em out style of run defense, but he was pretty much a non factor as a pass rusher. Kruger being the polar opposite of that. His play style and talent is leaps and bounds above both.

I think reddick may end up the best "situational" guy, I think he's gonna be a hell of a dangerous specialist type of player, but in terms of 3 down starter I think it comes down to watt and Barnett, they just look like legit ball players. Sometimes the eye test says it all and I think those 2 fit that bill.

I think a skinnier Jamie Collins is a solid comparison. He's best suited on the outside, solid pass rushing, but great all around ability and can play all over a 34 front

I'm looking forward to watching the QBs tomorrow. This is where one of Trubinsky/Watson/Kizer/Webb/Mahomes could really distinguish themselves as the top dog
