The problem with him is that he won't do well against big nose tackles. It wouldn't be much of an upgrade over zuttah because they both struggle with the same thing. Big nose tackles. Otherwise I really like him and would be really happy with him in the second

I honestly don' think that's a huge problem for him. Even the best Centers get overpowered by big NTs from time to time, but as a former wrestler, he uses his hands and leverage very well.

He doesn't have a low center of gravity and I don't know how he'll fare against low center of gravity nose tackles. I don't know if he can get under their pad level and add to that a lack of strength (22 reps), I'm not sure...

Won't act as if i've seen every snap, but I've never seen him get overpowered or play off balance which is usually things that show up when you're playing with high pad level. The 22 reps don't "look good" but the bench doesn't always show how strong a guy is. Again he plays with really good leverage and balance which adds to his strength. Also he has a chance to improve that number at his pro-day. He had a really good day imo, but i also caution against expecting a prospect to be flawless. Everyone will have something to improve upon and by all reports i've seen he's a hard worker who craves coaching. I think he's a day 1 starter and could really help the Ravens, but we'll see.

RBs are a little later, should be interesting all around. Some of the linemen are looking good, Lamp may be cementing himself as a first rounder right now.

I can't remember it, but Whitehair's benchpress number was pretty ridiculously low, so I wouldn't pay too much attention to that.

Indeed. Yanda had 22 reps as well.

Bench press is more about showing a player's willingness to hit the weight room (you just don't bench 220 for 20 or 30 times from one day to another) rather than his play strenght. I'm not overly concerned about any olineman hitting the 20 reps mark.

Also, I'm not sure there's any C able to contain a "big NT" like Williams, Harrison, Poe, Lotulelei without help. You can avoid to double team those guys entirely by running outside and pulling a G for example but their inside presence will always be there, regardless from one's bench press number.

I have it streaming on my phone at work.  Zach Banner is pretty funny.

I started to write my post more than one hour ago and finished only now that I'm home so I couldn't see yours. I couldn't agree more.

NFL network guys are talking about Lamp moving to C like Whitehair as interesting idea.

Pretty sure Cam Robinson and Forest Lamp have ensured that they'll be 1st rounders. I honestly can't see teams passing on them. They both interviewed well, benched well, ran well for their size. Unless they totally fail at drills (doubt they will) they'll be top 25 picks

I agree they look really good. Lamp especially. He'll get strong consideration at 16. Or a trade back candidate depending how the board shakes out

I always saw him as the best OL prospect. A lot of draft pundits saw him as a first rounder. Some prefer feeney but I think feeney is 3rd interior guy behind lamp and cam(better suited for gaurd)

How many OL do you see going in the first?

3-5. I couldn't see more than 5 though. Lamp, cam, ramczyk should definitely be first rounders. Feeney and Bolles could get drafted late first. elflien maybe...but I think he's a second rounder

Ouch is right! I was expecting something like 36-38". I won't be shocked if he runs in 4.5s or 4.6s now and I think he just killed his stock as a top 10 guy. I love it because he may slip to us!

Lol that vert isn't good, but far from kills his stock. Doesn't change how he runs on tape

Ya I'd love it too, I'm sure he'll improve on that number at his pro day but so far he's losing stock.

Why did I get negged for that? Lol

His stock is already headed south, this isn't going to help.

Honestly when you waych film he isn't taller than Jourdan Lewis, there was no way he was going to measure at 6'1

I don't think they are going to start showing RBs until they run the 40 in half an hour.

This.  Don't fall victim to the underwear olympics.

I think everyone expected him to be shorter than 6'1", but measuring in at a shade under 5'11" and only 210 lbs doesn't help the questions about his position in the NFL

Interesting measureables for the defensive line and linebackers. Tak has got freaking wings man! Almost 35" arms. You might not like his skills bit he's got traits! Alot of the edge guys have lengthy arms which is very good to see

I've heard of so many organizations that only like the combine for the measurements and that all of the players are at the same place for interviews.
