The first to say they like him?  That would surprise me. Love him for us.

I was just saying that cause I don't see many people like him much. Not many here would like takk at 16

Man, I love Takkarist McKinley for us. Have a feeling his stock will be soaring post combine.

What do you like about him beyond pure athleticism?

Quick question. Why does Eddie Jackson get so overlooked. Seems like nobody talks about him or likes him. I know he's not a real thumper and isn't super fast but he has great instinct/awareness and ball skills. I think he has good range and just a really smart player. He's dangerous with the ball in his hands. I think he's really underrated

I think part of this is down to the injury - he was on a vaunted defence that dominated with and without him so he can become almost the forgotten man - I like him but not before the 3rd round or maybe even the comp pick

I still don't see what there is about him that makes him worth a mid-first beyond pure athleticism: he's stiff, doesn't bend the edge well, is as raw as any prospect, often gets stonewalled on film and has no disengage moves - this is what I've seen on the film I've watched and I'll admit I essentially have dismissed him to the end of the first round in terms of value - id love for him to go higher as long as it's not to the Ravens

I don't think Lawson is going day 1 because he's such a risk - a lot will depend on the combine medical stuff... I really like him on film though, as a pure pass rusher I think Id have him maybe fourth albeit he's still in my top 40 prospects or so... the injury makes me nervous but I guess if teams ok it then he could leap back up - I still think it's more likely he goes day 2

It is absolutely true that Takk has to develope some counter and disengaging moves but I see him as a very high floor guy and imagine he will be a far more finished product in 1-2 years. That's really a guy I can hardly see bust.

I also agree on the relevance of medical evaluations effecting Lawson's stock. I don't think he'll get to the second tho.

Dominique Easley, coming off a senior season ACL (the second) injury, was still picked at the bottom of the first.

The way he accelerates, locks his hips, flatters and maintains leverage on the outside; his ability to convert speed to power and use it wisely on Ts pads are rare.

It can happen but on the second he would be a tremendous steal.

Corey Davis hands not as big as I was expecting. 9 1/8.

Juju Smith Schuster has great measurables: 32 7/8 long arms and 10 1/2 hands. He's probably my favorite possession guy. Those big hands will help him make tough contested catches at the next level

Exactly. I don't know how important that is, but from a layman's perspective I think its pretty important for receivers....

1) absolutely relentless...Any tackle opposite him better understand that he doesn't take plays off and plays with hair on fire for the duration.

2) maintains edge and plays run well. Seems to have good awareness vs. Read option...finds the ball while engaged.

3) has limited repertoire as rusher in terms of hand and can get stone walled but you can see him thinking and trying moves in game.

For example: early on against Boles he is stood up by him one on one, I believe two times.

Not long after, you see him win inside....he doesn't get to QB but he definitely beats his man. After that, he beats Boles twice around the edge with blazing get off and athleticism and gets home

4) long arms-  has to learn how to use them but when he does he'll be unstoppable.

5) flashes effective bull rush.....Will become stronger and can add weight without losing speed. Repeatedly finds a way to bring pressure via shear effort.

Have not seen him in coverage that I recall but is moved around...sometimes rushing from inside linebacker spot.

6) chases play away from him

Pat Elflein seems to be checking off all the necessary boxes, except the bench press which he can easily improve at his Pro day. I'm seeing a lot of 2nd round grades on him and I think he'd be a nice add for the Ravens.

Also Sr looks good in his new job. Not as good as lining up at WR for the Ravens, but I think he'll be a great asset to the NFL Network.

The problem with him is that he won't do well against big nose tackles. It wouldn't be much of an upgrade over zuttah because they both struggle with the same thing. Big nose tackles. Otherwise I really like him and would be really happy with him in the second

Ethan Cooper who Mike mayock said had a "bubble butt" moves really well for a 330 lb guy. He's a maller, like what I see from him today. Oh btw he can dunk at 330

Forrest lamp can dunk too lol

Dunker & Elflein exposed quite a bit on the hip drill.

Ya I saw that, same with feeney. Ethan Cooper has looked very impressive today. Moves really well for a guy at 330.

Aviante from TCU is having a really good day. Very athletic and did well mirroring despite have a super wide base. He looks like a good potential pick - therefore he'll probably be starting in Seattle next year...

Ethan Cooper and Dion Dawkins have impressed me the most so far in oline drills. They move very well for their size, more know as run blocking gaurds

He doesn't have a low center of gravity and I don't know how he'll fare against low center of gravity nose tackles. I don't know if he can get under their pad level and add to that a lack of strength (22 reps), I'm not sure...

I can't remember it, but Whitehair's benchpress number was pretty ridiculously low, so I wouldn't pay too much attention to that.

Lol That's funny. I feel like he's have us take a receiver to replace him

He would probably say, "no receiver can replace me." :P
