You can feel free to use Spotrac for your own details, research, etc. but we're just looking for something that makes it easier for people to do the math when they cut and trade players.  For what it's worth, we explored the team manager and publishing feature and it lacks in a few areas for what we need from a management perspective.

As long as we are all off the same site its not an issue.  OTC is actually better for me in some ways ..

What site was used to determine the Franchise Tag numbers? Every position this year for the tag is so expensive.

It's offset by the large increase in cap if you really think about it lol. NFL contracts are getting larger. It makes sense tbh.

Not 100% but looks like using OTC, Its swings and roundabouts between the two sites. 

Better positioning for some of my players on OTC (although cannot switch to 4-3 now) but some players listed as free agents on Spotrac are signed on there blowing out a couple of targets.  Will catch some sleep and have a proper look through tomorrow.

Also depends on which position you are doing.  Bet tagging a tackle will cost a fortune and blow the cap space for teams.

It's too harsh of an option and not something we'd ever implement. It's more suitable for quick draft processes that finish everything in one day.

I think he's a bargaining chip. He needs the right system to succeed, the right mindset, and the right coaching. Houston is not that place though. 

 

Yeah true, but the Vikings could easily flip Bradford for close to what they payed for him. The key is whether or not Teddy will be good to go in 2017.

No, you would have to get 32 people to comply to that, something that's borderline impossible(when I go out with my usual group of 4 friends we can never agree on anything), and they all (except for @52520Andrew) have lives that they have to live, and live in time zones, there is literally no chance of this working. @arnie_uk lives in Europe. I live in Colorado and am two hours behind all of you. You live in Texas, which if I recall correctly is also in a time zone. Not to mention, most of us are either attending university, or have jobs. It's busy season in the corporate world, and is exam season in the student world. People(myself included) have things to do.

 

It's a good idea in theory, especially for a game with a shorter duration as @-Truth- has suggested, but this would not work at all with our setting of the game.

And I do not think it will happen anytime soon. We are too conservative for that we are pretty liberal regarding beverages though
