Was that just because he was a Raven or did other players go for that kind of amounts ??

Looking through last years threads seems most deals were reasonable

Top players at their positions go for insane amounts, especially EDGE and OL.

The 49ers are that perfect blank slate team that you can find in the middle of this team selection process. Similar to the Browns, but they have a less solid OL with a little less cap space and about the same when it comes to draft picks.Ā

they also have far less to work with in the draft, and are probably the most talent-deficient roster in the league lol.Ā

i honestly cant think of a player on the niners who i would consider a quality starter on any other team aside from deforest buckner and eric reid.

NaVorro BowmanĀ tops the list if he plays the same after the injury. Joe Staley's a solid LT. Their CBs aren't bad, and Carlos Hyde is a good starter when healthy. That being said, I agree that it's certainly an uphill climb and that the roster needs quite a bit of work. Kudos to @ludy51Ā for taking on the challenge. It's a good thing to see.

hell i honestly forgot about navorro bowman with the injury coming right before all the retirements, i think i thought he retired as well...Ā

staley is solid but its definitely downhill from here on out with him, ill agree hyde makes a solid complementary power back, but man that roster AND front office is spiraling.Ā

i will have complete faith that ludy could manage that team better than baalke did lol

At least I don't curse an entire team with bad luck like rmw does. I'm waiting for the bad news to start pouring in from Green Bay.

Yeah those poor 49ers still aren't recovered from when @rmw10Ā had them ;)

the browns are in a way better position than the niners lol, its fun to tease anything browns related but things should be on the upswing for them. if they could land a qb with either their 2nd or 3rd pick and nail the rest of their picks in the top 50, then they would already be making a giant leap. give them myles garrett, re-sign collins and pryor, draft trubisky/kizer(and have them pan out) and then going strictly BPA with the rest of their 2nd/3rd round picks then they should be in a hell of a position to compete. of course this is all assuming the qb pans out.

If Hyde can stay healthy, I believe Shanahan could do wonders with him. Ā He's a good coordination despite getting away from the run too much. Ā Its definitely a tough challenge and will be following @ludy51 throughout the process. Ā Good luck.

I'm in agreement. Looking forward to seeing what he does with one of the most historic franchises in the NFL.Ā

Plus @ludy51Ā has the benefit of the 49ers having the second most cap space behind Cleveland. I still can't believe how all those retirements crippled the team and depleted the roster. I don't even think Jim Harbaugh could have won if he wasn't ran out of town and those retirements still happened.Ā

It's all Baalke's fault. Ā Hell, I think I picked 27 that year so all of the options were borderline awful.

Speaking of the cap, I know which team @LosT_in_TranSlatioNĀ will end up with looking at the list of teams with the most cap space on spotrac. I wish him the best once that team is the only team left.

One of my mates is a huge 49ers fan and flies over from England for their games ... he is close to tears at what they have become.

He does artwork for the NFL so may need some suggestions for pieces to commision.

Since I'm gonna pull an all nighter, I will be taking teams andĀ intentionally sabotagingĀ your lists so I can pick someone other than the Rex Ryan Buttfumble's will make draft picks for people on the list later.Ā

No trade offers until everyone has a team. Ā If you wanted KC so much why didn't you draft them.
