Olson, Smith, Or Boller Gone?

What would you do, with what you've seen with all of these QB's ?? If you had to make the choice RIGHT NOW?

I had to include Boller, well; I think you know why.

If I had to make the choice right now (as the question was posed): Smith. He has the most to overcome, being undersized, the coaches cannot teach him to grow 3 to 5 inches. He hasn't yet shown that he has the talent to overcome his physical limitations to play in the big leagues, but it would be nice to see him provided the opportunity via the taxi squad.

Olson is a maybe, but doesn't look like ultimate starter material. I wouldn't be surprised to see someone else brought in.

But, really, we have had on TC, the scrimmage, and 2 exhibitions to watch these two guys. Too bad the storm precluded seeing them tonight. It will really depend on camp next week and the Atlanta game.

Boller is a no brainer. He is the backup QB, and shouldn't be included in the question. There's no competition with the #3 competitors.

Troy Smith is the more athletic with a strong arm and quick feet. He has the best chance for big plays. Will either bang or bust. He has a great learning personality, he's a keep.

Drew Olson is the most accurate of the QB's. Proved to be one of the best in Europa.

Kyle Boller has the most experience but looks like he'll never turn into a number one.

It would be smart to keep all three with Steve McNair looking to retire soon. Out of the three one should be great. We don't want to be running around looking for a third QB if McNair retires.

now this makes for an interesting theme for our next game considering it will be the last showing for each QB before final cuts. it sucks we didnt see much of the rookie action with the game raining out. and it makes me sad that the redskins "won" on a stroke of luck. i consider it more of a draw because theres always the potential for the late-game comebacks

damn

i think they shouldve waited, i saw no clear cut winner and final cuts dont have to be made til after the last game.

oh well....lets hope it was best for the team

still...even though we cut Olson....there still is no Guarentee that Smith will get the 3 QB job......Billick said that they are still determining whether or not to go with 2 active QB's (like last year) or go with 3

They is no way they cut Smith, with the threat of McNair retiring we have to have something more to fall back on besides Boller.

I wish we could draft a QB instead of picking up a hand-me-down. (McNair is an exception because we needed a QB immeditately).
