Take it with a grain of salt. They said the Same things last year when asked about Stanley and tunsil "we think there are a lot of good offensive lineman in the middle rounds" yet we picked Stanley round 1.

Could be, but this team has talked about getting play-makers for so long that if they could find someone who can make plays, they would take him no matter the position.

Ya we've needed playmakers for years now. This looks like the year to do that. I hope lol.

They also picked Alex Lewis in round 4 so they were not exactly lying.

The value of the corners almost give them a +50% likeliness of being selected in Round 1. IMO anyway. Lattimore, Jones, Wilson have considerable value over a lot of players that will be presumably left.

Ya but it's like they were beating around the bush cause they were originally asked about tunsil and stanley

Can we hope a picture of Myles Garret with a marijuana gas mask on Leaks 10 minutes prior to the draft? Don't think we'd pass this time!

Photo shopping now. Lol yeah I doubt we would be that lucky

Lmao I pray to God that happened. But with how good he is, the freaking Browns would still take him.

Just watched the tape of Charles Harris vs Vandy again. Man I would love him at 16. I hated on him before but I've done a complete 180 on him and I'm 95 percent sure he'll be there at 16. Would be even more amazing if we can get in in the 2nd but I doubt that will happen.

He won't be there in the 2nd but I do think he's there at 16 and I'd be all about it. I'm a huge Charles Harris fan

Thinking out of the box here- with ALOT of uncertainty at the tight end position- ( pitta and Watson likely being cut- crock  being constantly hurt- the lack of development from maxx...and his injuries- the inexperience of waller - and Boyle getting suspended twice and facing his third strike) what is the possibility of trading back for a guy like OJ Howard? I only bring it up BC I haven't seen anyone mention him or mock him to us ( and probably for a reason) but he has performed extremely well and made huge plays on the biggest stage two years in a row- which is huge. After reading the article on the front page about him molding his game after Ozzie and that he would love to play for us- could this be even a consideration? We know Joe loves  his big targets- and this  guy can catch AND block-  and had one of the most impressive showings at the senior bowl and won the best practice award. Obviously we have much more pressing needs..but could he be a trade back candidate if he's the BPA and we can pick up an extra 2nd with how stacked this years cb and pass rushing class is? I mean if we think he could be the next Jordan reed ( who he reminds me of) I think its def something to think about... Pick up two 2nds and knock out corner and OL...then go pass rusher and receiver with our two thirds... Just a thought!

I don't think we can get gim after a trade back. Honestly I'd be ready to take him at 16, I truly think he would be a hell ofof an addition to our offensesnaps.

There's a ton of guys you like this year :D

I'm looking forward to see someone posting a new thread on everyone's fav and least fav prospects. I'm truly curious to see who some of you guys are not high on.

Recently saw a mock of us taking Raekwon Mcmillian. Now I know he's a good player but is he worth a 1st round pick

Lol no. He's good vs the run but he's too inconsistent. Has potential for sure but I don't think he's fast enough to cover well in the NFL

I see him as a little more fluid/athletic version of Walford (who I really liked and considered a border line 1st rounder). As you say, we may have the best TE depth in the whole league but issues of different nature turn the position into half of a question mark. Thus I don't see the pick as an impossible scenario, although it's pretty unlkely. We have too many needs this year and either a very good pass-rusher or CB will fall to the teens.

Percentage-wise I would say CB and ED both have approssimately 40% of being addressed in the first. I don't see any WR  not named Williams worth taking there and he has like 0 chances to slide that far. So 0-5% to WR. 0-5% to RB (maybe one of the top 2 will be there but the pick wouldn't hold much value need-wise). So I'd part the remaining 20-30% between Oline and OJ.

If we do pick oj I'd want to get rid of gillmore, watson, Boyle and possibly Waller unless he goes back to WR. Get pitta to take a pay cut, and keep maxx Williams. He's too young to give up on him. We drafted him when he was only 20 so I think he's 22 now. The guy still has potential and with those 3 guys that would make a neck of a 3 headed monster. You could run a lot of different formations with those guys like the pats used to do with their 3 tight end sets.

This is a great class tbh. A lot of really good guys across MOST positions, and a lot of depth at high value positions.

There are guys I don't like though for sure lol. Jalen tabor comes to mind immediately lol

If we  did go that route- I would keep 4 and go with :

1) OJ Howard

2) Pitta/ Crock

3) Maxx Williams

4) Waller

If pitta doesn't agree to a paycut I would interchange him with Crockett.  Its hard for me to want to move on from pitta- esp since he would be the only real veteran presence..plus he has the best rapport with Joe. However his blocking Is a major liability. So no paycut then its time for him to go. Then we would have 4 TE's on their rookie contract. Which is good and bad.

I agree. The only issue I have with gillmore is that he just can't seem to stay healthy what so ever. I'd like pitta to stay but not at his current contract. We also invested a lot in maxx so he really needs to stay and i really like Wallers potential. I'd be pissed if we let him walk and he ends up reaching his potential with another team.

i don't wanna be aggressive or offensive  just wondering is there any players that you don't like? in your opinion how many players good enough to be picked at 16? 20? 30? can you name them all?  i'm just curious...

i think 16 pick is pretty high. we can (must?!) grab top-10 talent. just bcoz a lot of teams need a qb , some teams pick bust or whatever... it's can't be more than 10 top-10 talents , right ?

I don't understand how there's still people who believe Dalvin Cook can be our pick. The guy probably won't even be on our draft board......

Marlon Humphrey, Takk McKinley and Teez tabor are some that he dislikes. At least that I know. Ironically I think all 3 could be top 20 picks

If either Fournette or Cook is available at #16, we should not hesitate to pick one of them. They are playmakers that we sorely need on offense and that'll relieve pressure on Flacco and limit his mistakes.

I agree with you that its time to let Pitta go. Joe will learn to build a rapport with the other talented TEs we either draft or have. Its about time we have a lot of offensive playmakers capable of making tough catches in traffic and moving the chains. Most importantly, we need TEs that can block and get yards after carry, both not Pitta's strong suits.

Fournette yes. Cook no. I don't think cook will even be on our board with his off the feild issues. Ive been saying this for a while now

Was he involved in a domestic abuse situation? I wasn't aware of it.

He was. However he was found not guilty because of lack of evidence and the victims story didn't match. However, the fact that FSU continuously had this issue doesn't look good for him. He was also cited for mistreating 3 puppies; chaining them outside where they couldn't move and were chocking. He also had several arrests as a juvenile. When you add it all up it really doesn't help his case.
